Simple question, what does durability affect? The follow up to that is at what durability should I replace my carbine?

Thanks for any help.

I haven't held on to a single carbine long enough to get it lower than 500 on durability, but I haven't seen any actual performance drop from the lesser number either. My guess is that weapons work at peak performance until they break.

I got a CDEF down into the 300s. I didn't notice a huge drop in performance really...the speed might have been lower, not sure. Then again it's kinda hard for such a low-end weapon to get worse, ya know?
