Thread: Can't even Kill a Rebel Medic
Isolod a yellow imperial private AND a white droid medic with actionshot1 & 2used repeatedly with a couple wildshots thrown in for good measure. the medic died last and managed to incap me but died from bleed before he could death blow me. Ive also solod 2 red cannibal dewbacks at the same time with actionshot1,2 and legshot and a crappy 117 damage E11 carbine (which i incidently dont consider so crappy anymore).
btw i used no structure, LoS, or any other kind of exploits, i simply kept the mobs immobile as best i could to minimize me getting hit and only had to kite once or twice when i couldnt get one of them stunned. stimpacks used every 4 or 5 specials (dont wait till your HAM bar is already low to use them).
my point is not to brag but to show what a little common sense can do. i cant figure out how a novice carbinier could possibly get owned by two blues. what gun were you using? where you at full HAM? were you wearing alot of armor (ie carbineer suicide)?
btw i just reread you post and dont know where i got the idea it was a blue medic and droid and apparently this board wont let me edit my posts![]()
action makes the guy kneel down. With action 1 Marksman and a probot i was soloing everything no problem at all
I'm just an apprentice carbiner, no other combat skill and I can kill empire medic (red for me)... It just take time, having to let them bleed, and playing with them... Just have to run, wait let them stand, run... Shoot when they don't bleed...
Well, It's not anymore one shot on the white since last patch but I can still kill things.

The secret is all in the bleed. I've killed multiple Rebel brigadier generals in one "outing" using only Novice Carbineer and lower skills (action shot 2 I think and legshot2). I apply a bleed and back away making him chase me for a bit while he bleeds. When he's about halfway or more, I sit down and pop him. I'm using a damage-sliced laser carbine.
Another thing that I've noticed is I've been able to do much better now that I picked up some novice medic skills. Even with only 2/0/1/0 medic skills, I can heal for 200-300 damage to health and action. This is great, and ultimately, when I need those final few carbineer slots, I'll dump the medic skills (or maybe not).
But if you just sit in one spot and try to kill something with legshot after legshot, you're more than likely to be incapped, if not killed.

I soloed a red storm trooper. only armor I had on was a mabari helm (low mind pool), and I only put that on after his forst shot hit me for half my mind health.
I had no pets (only have 1 faction pet and did not want him perma killed if I lost).I used an elite carbine. I thought I would need equilibriam, but as it turns out, i never used it. he only droped me to about 1/2 in all pools, that is including using special shots on him.
honestly I think carbiners have it the easiest when it comes to killing humaniods. I have a reble trooper and close to 1K reble faction 99% from soloing destroy missions. usualy with a trooper pet, but I had to get 700 faction points w/o pet to get that, and I do not always use my pet. usualy only for humans my pet could take solo. the main reason I do not use my pet much is due to the loss of carbine XP, I drop from 1100-1200 per imperial to 6-700 per, with little differance in down time.
My skills are, Novice carbiner, all scout trees but trapping and survival. full ranged support, pistol 2, rifle 1, full survaying tree, engi 2.
Note, no medic skills at all, and carbine is the only weapon I can use worth a dam. if I can solo a red con human with the same weapon skills as the origonal poster, I would really suggest that you revise your battle plan if you are getting toasted by a white con. so far I have not found any thing I cannot solo with just a carbine. it may take me a few tries to get it down (kimgola on lok took me a few tries).
Does actionshot 1 actually work? i see no physical changed in the enemies' HAM bar when i use it, even when it says i'm doing 300 dmg in the combat window. any ideas?
bleed, posture change, and legshot are a nice combo. i solo'd a nightsister rancor today using that, no exploits, no pets/probots, just me, my laser carbine, a stimpack B, and a revealing flesh wrap-hey you gotta look good while killing stuff!
