I am looking to get a hig end CDEF to level with. What are the stats on the best ones out there?I need to find aMaster Weaposmith and ask forsomething similar. Thanks.

Master Weaponsmiths might not b able to make a good CDEF, u need a master astisan I believe

Well, yes CDEFs aren't weaponsmith weapons, but I think that Weaponsmiths who have more experimentation points might make a better one. Highest I've seen is 60 damage.

CDEFs use artisan experimentation points. I'm not a master artisan, but I have the 10 points (Engineer + Dom. Arts 3 + human bonus point). I was making 39-59 / 3.4 or so CDEFs before I started pouring all my copper into my weaponsmithing. I think it's probably possible to squeeze a little more top damage out of it with really good copper, the stuff I was using at the time was (only, hehe) 950 Conductivy 900 or so OQ. My guess is maybe 2 or 3 more points average damage, and not much faster.

You might be right on that. Not quite positive because....um, who uses CDEFs anyways? The best CDEF i could make was 60 damage. as soon as i had hit weaponsmith, i noticed no change. so you might be right in aspect. but i never traveled up any of the other weaponsmith branches which are supposed to get you more experiementation points.
