Thread: how do you kill mobs?
ok, this is how i do it, and i'm wondering how everyone else kills?
If it's a mob, i get around 55m away and do an actionshot2 if they are alone (otherwise i get them all pissed at me) to start the bleeding. Then i do legshot2 over and over and over..and throw a heal in there too (stupid HAM costs) then they die. Sometimes i throw aburstshot1 in there to mix it up or even another actionshot2 to make them stop coming for me. Every once in a while my actionshot2 says i used debilitating shot and i totally slam an opponent with multiple shots at once(example: killing a rebel commando in 1 shot).OK so thats it..this seems to be the best way for me...anyone else?

so easy..i soloed imp stormies with my unsliced laser carbine, they had 7.8k action bar..anyway, its easy, action shot2,actionshot 1, legshot 2, action 2, heal, leg2 ,action2, leg2, leg2, action2, heal, leg2, (repeat from beginning)
that easy, i should make a macro out of it..
As a novice carbineer.
Reds/Yellows
Move to 49m. Try to stay at 49m throughout the fight.
1. Phecanine Dart, Action 2, Action2, Leg 2, Leg 2
2. Phecanine Dart, Leg2, Leg 2, Leg2, Leg 2
Repeat 2 till mob dead. Occasionallya phec will not stick, simply take the hit and throw another.
Whites
Move to 50m. Try to stay at 50m throughout the fight.
1. Action 2, Leg 2 ..repeat Leg 2 using Action 2 if required.
Blues
1. Some full auto 2s or normal fire depending on the mob. Many blues at this level drop to a single full auto 2 shot.
"and throw a heal in there too (stupid HAM costs)"
I dont understand why you guys have those heals in there, doesnt that waste your timeyou should be shooting (not trying to be a smart arse..just trying tounderstand)?
Occasionally ill need to heal mid fight..I think you guys might have your mind too high if you have enough spare to heal willy nilly ? Get more str, con, quickness and err..the other agility ?
I'm usually grouped and playing crowd control myelf. So, I'll set upin a spot out of range of the lair and agood 25m or so behind everyone to cover.
Then if it's a single mob i'll actionshot1 followed by 2 rounds of normal attacks, rinse repeat to keep the mob planted. If the mob gets too close I'll spam warning shot until it kites and follow up with an actionshot to plant it again. Once either of the HAM bars start getting low i'll toss in legshots, fullautos or scattershots to help polish it off.
If we pull more than one mob I'll spam actionshot2 until everything is planted then start targeting things with actionshot1 to stack the bleeds. Then it's just /assist the main tank until something needs to be planted again, or a HAM bar needs to be polished off. Or warning shot if someone is being wailed on.
If solo I usually take my time and actionshot/kite to ideal range/normal/normal repeat until one HAM bar starts looking more inviting than another.
