Thread: EE3 or Laser. Which is preferred?
I am a hunter/killer type guy. I havnt done any PvPing as yet. So im totally unqualified to talk about pvp damage. BTW, they may be reducing pvp damage by 75% so that may stop the one shot kills.
I go after big red creaturesand find that the AR2 to be the key. Go read the armour guide posted by soe, ive seen some wacky comments on these boards regarding AR.
In a non-pvp fight you dont just fire 1 shot. So who cares if it hits for 50 sometimes. Its the average that counts.
I just got a laser carbine earlier today and immediately I noticed how it would hit for lower dmg sometimes, but when it hit big....WOW!
Speed and HAM costs leave a bit to be desired, but some mods can surely help the speed out.
I mix and match. For destroy missions I use the laser to take out the mobs and the EE3 to take out the lair. Works great.
LOOK you guys!!!!
Speed and power is what you have to judge by, ham cost is high on all carbines.
Laser has average hit of liek 100 dmg per shot and ee3 is like 90 or somthing. EE3 is normaly faster but not more then a sec.
What it comes down too is that the laser has an ideal range of 50 and the ee3 is like 24 meters. THerefore you should cary a laser for sure and then a dh17 snub, ee3 or ee11 for shooting on the move and up close.
Laser should be your first shot even thow it sometimes hits for 50 on average it is the same as the others and often it hits for a devistation 1500 +.
Moral or the story get one of each open up whith the laser and if you want speed learn how to use a pistol, Igained pistol specialist in 2 hours yesterday after be fed up with carbines in close combat. I bouht a scout with 1.6 sec speed its neearly full auto and i can run and shoot as long as i'm with in 30 meteres and hit 80 % of the time
