Well, the problem is that Carbineer was nowhere touted as a "support class" never meant to be played solo, but the AE pretty much requires that you play in a group if you ever want to make use of those shots. Either that or pick up some CH, although I daresay some of us really do want to be different.

A better fix would be to put the AE shots in one particular skillup column within Carbineer. That way, you could ignore those shots until the very end if you wanted to, and it would make Carbineer seem like a far more vertical profession than it is now.

I have to say ...cone effects rock in pvp



and if you dont think you will ever see rebals charging you in large packs...you are sooo mistaken

Cone effect is awsome. I kill yellow mobs 3 at a time with action shot 2. Of course the HAM hit is major but when isn't it?

could someone post and tell me what are the average ham costs and damage output of these "cone effects" and other carbineer attacks ?


i'm just starting carbineer and wondering if i should keep pistoleer or switch over completely..

I really like the IDEA of cone effects, as I can't use them yet. I just hit Carbine 4 in the marksman tree. But, I think the cone effects will be VERY useful once I get farther into the Combat Medic tree and can start throwing Action Poisons hehe


Throw an Action Poison, Pop off a Cone-effect that deals damage to the Action pool, and watch stuff die asthey charge me


Solo'ing large MOB's though... I could see a problem hehe
