Sliced my smith'n'wesson laser carbine last night from 19-214 to 24-263. Those lower end shots still occur but the upper end stuff....that just takes the cake. It's really something to 2 shot a lvl 25 difficulty Flit nest on Lok.

Well should I spend the money on a DXR6? I have an EE3 now and about 50k away from novice carbineer, but the stats dont look that great. I expected it to be better but its just a little better damage wise but speed wise, it was 4.8... was the one I saw crap, or are most DXR6s slow?

Where can i find a smuggler to slice my gun? I can never trust anyone, lol. Names please?

cant wait for some new low ham carbs to come along but for now ill enjoy my

and lowest ham possible on laser,

I'm currently using an E11 carbine:

67-143, speed sliced down to 2.8, HAM 30/40/20

I've actually got a DH17 that's better, except for HAM costs:

73-171, speed sliced to 2.9, HAM 50/50/20

The main reason I don't use the DH17 is because of the HAM. With the E11, I can actually use some specials without killing myself. Also, there's another factor that is a drawback to the DH17. If you use it on a creature with armor rating 1, it does less damage. The E11, DXR6, Elite, and Laser don't have this drawback. All others do.

The best Elite I've seen had these stats:

79-131, speed 4.2, HAM 30/50/20

This elite wasn't sliced yet, which would help it. But even after slicing I don't think it would have the same DPS as my E11.

I'm a master weaponsmith on Lowca. EE3 and Laser Carbine are the only 2 people seem to buy from me. Mostly Laser Carbine.

On Lowca there are a coupe of good weaponsmiths.

Macross Mime on Tatooine, outside of Mos Eisely

Buffy on Naboo, outside of Theed (I don't remember the direction but you drop off the cliff right next to town and there are some houses out from the cliff)

Both are good weaponsmiths and charge reasonable prices. Before slicing my laser carbine was 20-222 dmg / 4.1 speed. HAM costs are something like 31/40/28. I think I picked up this carbine from buffy. I can pretty much spam out the leg shots but fullAutoSingle2 takes a chunk. Using action I don't mind but my health drops pretty fast. I'll be glad when they "adjust" things.

where are u guys finding these low HAM costs?!?

i have an EE3 that does 97-174 *not sliced yet

and the costs are like 15-90-43. EXPENSIVE !actionshot1 does like -232

preferably until i find a good HAM rate, CDEF sliced is perfect for me =]

To get that 97 to 174 damage the weaponsmith probably included a stock and scope. Both of these boost the damage but also boost the HAM costs for specials.

I'm a Bounty Hunter on Eclipse and use:

1. DH17 92-222, 3.0s, 47/51/38. HAM cost too high too be affective.

2. EE3 67-169, 3.2s, 38/32/17 Better HAM cost.

3. Laser 20-211, 3.2s 31/48/24 My first choise, the HAM cost is better to the Health pool than the EE3. As a Rodian I get insane Action regen rates so the health is more an issue. It also does more dmg/s than the EE3.
