I am pretty sure that the DH17 SN is less accurate at all ranges than the DH17. It does do more damage, though.

When reading the range modifiers, remember that if the first number is negative, it will do a line break there because the rest of the line is too long to fit on the same line. It looks like this:

Range Modifiers: -
40/0/-80

See the - sign on the first line? That is actually a negative sign meant to apply to the "40". It should read:

Range Modifiers: -40/0/-80

All carbines have point-blank and max-range modifiers that are worse than their optimum-range modifiers (the distance of which is specified by the listed optimum range elsewhere in the weapon stats). So far, the best at short range that I've seen is the CDEF, although some weapons have very short optimum-ranges (low 20m's).
