Thread: My take on BH issues

well the whole thing about BH is their knockdowns, does damage as well as knocks you down. But anyways a master Carbineer should be able to own a novice BH, but right now that is not the case. BTW BH is such an easy class to get to. 40k combat exp, i got 60k in one day. It really isnt that hard to do


You forget you are getting 40k combat while being a marksman and not a MASTER CARBINEER. Also if BH is easy to get hehe.. they how pathetically easy is carbineer to get?

I could imagine someone doing 2k with Underhand.


I use a damage sliced LC, and it's not evenmade from thebest materials (26-288 4.5), and without a powerup I can hit for 1600.

I'm on the intrepid server and I have bounty carbine 4 and a speed sliced laser carbine. if you want to see someone do 2k with underhand i will show you. I dont do it all the time but i can do it. Even with Fire knockdown which is essentially weaker than Underhand i can break about 1.6k damage. The damage on my carbine is 16-224.

Or maybe right now this was the clearest shot I could get of the actual damage over the mobs head. I killed little stuff so there would only be one shot showing over its head, making the damage easier to see.

Its not even the best, I've done 1.6k base damage before, which would be well over 2k actual damage against a lightly armored mob. Before you cry nerf, keep in mind this is the same damage I get with burstshot1, and burstshot2 does even more damage(which I don't have).

I've seen 2000 damage underhands in the combat box. Off of a 250 to 300 damage laser carbine it's not hard.


Keep in mind though that this is th MAX damage, I'm not saying it hits there all the time, most of the time it hits for around 700-1300.

There's also the fact that using a laser carbine chargeshot1 does about 200-300 damage seems to keep them down for no time at all and uses around 140 ham. Underhand shot does about 200-2000 damage seems to keep them down long enough to fire 2-3 other shots and uses 79 ham.

I would have gone Master Carbineer, but i wanted to keep my novice medic Skills.

Please do Remember.

Carbiner Novice = 35 points

Carbineer Master = 92 points with 158 points to spare.

Novice BH = 160 points

1 Tree of Bh = 174 points with 76 points left to spare, thats half of the points you guys have left over.

with 158 points, you could master medic and doctor or master entertainer and go master dancer or muscian.

Or go master artisan, merchant/armorsmith/weaponsmith etc.

and STILL have 18 points to tinkle in 3 other hybrid or elite classes, or start another starting class.

As with BH, if you try to master your weapons class as well, you wont have any medic skills, making you extremely vunerable in PVE combat and during those long PVP faction raids.

Yes we are powerful as a BH level 4 and a master carbineer, but the HAM it cost to execute all the moves and not be able to heal it back, thats a hurting.

What im trying to say is, Just wait a little while, they will fix all the broken moves, and add much more bonuses and defenses. To keep you guys powerful, while not as powerful as a BH, but able to contend.

It helps to be a bothan with maxed secondary H and A stats
