Thread: Best Overall Carbine?
As someone said carbines are situaional...
E11- for long battles since it has low hams and fast attack speed2.0 but 115 damage very low
Laser- Bleeds and armored creatures
DH17 Snubnoes- 73-176 2.2 HIGH HAMS mainly for pvp or doing normal attacks
The EE3 is AR 0, which is the primary thing making me want to upgrade already. Against armored mobs, it does jack crap. It does heat damage which has variable effectiveness, but it is also supposed to have a damage radius. However, i believe the damage radius on theEE3 is bugged, since I have never seen it actually affect other than my target unless I used an AOE special. I am primarily looking for a really well-sliced laser carbine, even though it's only a third tier marksman carbine, because its damage is simply unparalelled.
The Elite carbine has the advantage of versatility. It's damage is average, it's speed is slightly above average, it's range modifiers are somewhat decent, and it's HAM costs aremien of most carbines. It's not what I'd expect from an end-game carbine, but it's still a good one.
The snubnose's damage is too low for it's HAM costs, even though it's fast. If you use specials, don't expect to survive. It's really not worth your time if you can afford something better and have the certs for it. It does have the best zero range mod, though.
DXR6 looks about as decent as the Elite in overall stats, except it's more of a close-up carbine. Which probably makes it better in PvP. Plus I think that Energy saves are more common than Acid saves wich is the DXR6's damage type.
