Hi all,

I wanted to report a bug here. I suppose I should file a bug report but I don't have much faith in anyone reading those. I'm hoping the correspondents can pass it on as they see fit.

I was hunting a jedi tonight and I had my three pets attack. I incapped the Jedi and then next thing I know, she's dead. It would appear that my pets killed her. I got the PvP rating adjustment but no mission completion and no payout.

I saw her coming out of the cloning station and I could still attack her. My mission was clearly not completed. Not a good situation for the Jedi and not a good situation for me (since I had to defeat her twice to get my payout).

I hope this can be added to the list of bugs for both BH and CH.

I am thinking it is the exploit that we have posted about but I have a pet as well and it happnes to me all the time. The thing is that in other payouts I get paid fine. When I duel other jedis for fun they dont insta corpse. She was using a known exploit i am sure. Unfortunately palcing a ticket will do nothing, I have done so 7 times.

Since you have a pet you blame it on that, trust me I have gone down this road, you will realize they are simply cheating, the Jedi did not lose XP either.

this goes both ways...attacked someone on dathomir 2 nights ago, after maybe 2-3 minutes of fighting, group of 2-3 nightsister slaves attacked me as well...couldnt outheal a 226k (pre20 ) jedi in addition to the nightsister slaves...but the instant i was db'd one of the slaves got the db and when i cloned i still had the jedi's mission.

If an NPC gets the db you don't get a mission complete either.

I just rolled up on a Jedi attempting to solo picks... he was at about 20% and running... I hopped off the bike and hit him with a charge shot. I tried a DB, but he was dead before the timer ran out.

If the pet is one that has DB=yes in the wild, it will do what comes naturally without any intervention by its master, nor can the master prevent it from DBing.

So, unfortunately, it's out of the hands of the BH/CH to control the issuance of the DB by the pet.

It's a bug, because under any other circumstance a pet's kill of a mob counts for the master as if he directly attacked the mob. I was goofing off with some of my cats last night on Naboo and didn't fire a shot, sending them against maulers and tradefeds and I got 1 CH XP for each kill and was able to loot the corpses as if I'd personally engaged the mobs myself.

You don't know what you are talking about, jedi who have been my freinds since launch explained it to me. I posted how to do it (out of anger people saying I was lying) and it got deleted within 3 minutes. This is a known exploit, it occurs by hitting a combo of keys (I know exactly which ones) that were intended for anohter purpose (for jedi) and it allows you to go insta corpse instead of incap (when the final shot comes BEFORE deathblow..don't get ocnfused).

Now , I agree that in addtion to that the pets might be borked and are talking the DB away but then that has to get fixed as well beacuse it only happnes randomly. My pet has gotten the final strike bforew incap and I was still able to deathblow. It is all over the place, it is quite litterally a BUG hunt. sometimes it happnes osmetimes it does not. The end result is that I have 11 scalps and have only been paid for 5.

I doubt it was an exploit on the Jedi's part. Why won't she have just done it again once I attacked and incapped her again? Besides, despite being a little pissed off when I killed her the first time she seems like a good player -- not one likely to exploit.

Barafu you could be 100% right, I am saying in another thread to look into the pet problem, but I have seen it with a BH that was alone and no pets. It is s abug, but it can be duplicated as an exploit, that is probably safe to say, look at my other thread, you have a jedi kidding about it (he knows it is real).
