Thread: trando rifle slice info, plz assist

sup fellas I just wanted to know if anyone is using this sweet sweet machine of a gun and if so what slices should I get for it. Right now I am using the covert retaliation and it kicks butt, but the trando is even better even before I have it sliced. Reason I am asking cause I got a tier 2 dmg slice on the covert ret and my dmg point went up by 1 point lol total waste, now I notice if I put a speed pup on this gun it adds the most dmg so should I just put a tier 4 speed slice or is this a waste as well cause the damn timer thing. btw 708 dps with a speed pup

The problem with speed slices is that the reason the DPS is going up is because you are firing faster. As you fire, you are burning up Action. Especially on the Covert which is like a SAC of 100 and I think the THR is like a SAC of 121. I like to damage slice the rifles, start with them at range and then when the target closes I have an 883 DPS (speedsliced)77SAC Scatter I use.

thing with a damage slice is how do you know what the cap is, I put a tier 2 dmg slice on the covert only the bring the dmg from 984 to 985 lol 2 wasted slices

I think that there is a thread floating around in the Weaponsmith forums that talks about caps. Loot weapons might be harder to figure out. I think that that putting everything (slices and PUPs) into speed is ok, just make sure that you've taken food, drugs and whatever else you can get your hands on to increase your action regen if you are planning on spamming like Advanced Critical
