I have been a Master Carbineer for almost 2 years now... Since the CU, i havent been able to find the right carbine. I would like to discuss the pros and cons of each carbine that you guys use.
I have a Proton Carb, but I am not satisfied with it for the reason that I just dont to enough damage. I have considered the Elite, the Mark II, and the Grievous Striker. I am not a MCarbineer anymore, I just have x4xx and I am maxed in Carb acc/speed and General acc/speed. What do you guys think?

honestly the proton is amazing. get a tier 3 damage slice and slap a damage pup on there and you will have a weapon over 1k damage that is quick and has a low SAC.

get a elite about the same as a mark 2,
and also get a czerka carbine for kinetic damage you need 170 tissues and,
170 gorax bones shareds for the czerka carbine.
and a good crafter dam and sac are the most important.

Like these guys said, slice that Photon carb, or get a new E11mark2.
It will cost you, but it's for that end-game weapon.

Yeah, got a proton with an 8% dmg, 3%crit 2%speed slice on it, adk and 32%/6% PuP and its as near as you can get to being as good as my old adk PuP'd Trandoshan Hunting Rifle. Low SAC is great and combined with my MCM skills I can be pretty deadly and very very annoying to Jedi

You can't use the e11mk2, have to be master. I use my ADK proton for PVE and my e11mk2 for Jedi. If I need kinetic, I just whip out the scatter.

Forget what everyone else told you. All those guns are great, but dont vother using them for Jedi hunting. If you intend to fight a Jedi go with either a high end Czerka Dart Carbine or a goodNym's Slug Thrower. Reason why is Energy is a much more defendable damage type then Kinetic Damage; have tested this several times and even a Max damage Elite or Proton do considerably less damage simply because they are energy weapons (keep in mind most people have shield generators as well which deflects even MORE energy damage)

In addition to the ones mentioned, I suggest adding a good DXR-6 carbine to your arsenal for the long 65m base range.

Spot on. I sport 1.3spd, 800dmg, 57sac (pup) Czerka Dart and it what I use for 90% of my marks. If I catch them w/no FA etc up/going I whip my e11mkII 1.3spd, 1048dmg, 55sac (pup) out and lay down some fire. I use sac pups, so I can keep those specials flying for a LONG LONG time.
