Pleeaaaasssee do something about show-off jedi and the ones who stand in Theed overt waiting to gank people... I fully support saber-TEF.

saber-TEF ftw.

I will gladly take the SaberTEF back, withtwo conditions: One is that it is a GeneralTEF (you attack the sabered Jedi, anyone can attack you). Why you may ask?

1. Lone Jedi is sitting in starport, BH attacks, saber lights up, now 50 people can shoot Jedi who didn't have a choice in being attacked.


2. Jedi out grinding (middle of Endor/Yavin/Whatever), 4-10 people pop by w/ a BH. Now Jedi is attacked by BH again and can be attacked by all.

Number two is that if this crap went through I'd want my 20x power back. You're basically changing it back to 1vs8-50 PvP, I need the power to go along with it.

SaberTEF won't come back for these reasons, but if it does and Jedi don't have the old 20x power, they won't have any chance.I'm still tired too, probably couldn't think of a truly original attack schema.

Saber TEF lasted for 9 months with no problems. It was when Jedi needed to be nerfed they brought it out. Un-nerf Jedi and bring back saber tef.

Yep. I never recall SaberTEF being as much of a problem as permadeath was, and we're not talking about going back to what SaberTEF was--there has to be changes made that suit almost everyone.

I had a thread on what I thought saber-TEF should be, I'll try and dig it up.

Nice, I agree with most of it. You should put a link in the other two posts I have related to this in the GCW and JEdi forums too.

I see no problems with saber tef on the foolallowing anyone who wants to shoot him/her. Thats how it should be, jedi should die horrible deaths. Gank squads are the best. So its ok for a jedi to single handelly take out a base turret or a small group of jedi clean out the death watch bunker with ease? Ok then its ok for us to have gank squads to take down your one man army. The requirement is that the group leader MUST be a master bh . if you jedi have something to whine about this just /cancelaccounts

SaberTEF will never come back unless Jedi has been brought backup in power.

Reguardless what the tin foil hat wearing people will tell you, Jedi has been nerfed down:

1) No Lightsaber damage any longer

2) No 85% block any longer

3) Still no Armor certs

4) Healing < Non-Jedi healing

Many more but those above are what made Jedi strong and was always cause for "nerf this" threads.

Jedi can still do some neat/cute stuff (Cloakor AvoidIncap) that non-Jedi can notbut in the end the core combat abilities Jedi is compareable to non-Jedi powerlevel wise. Sure you have a lot of people out there in Jedi groups killing people, don't you think the same thing would happen with a group of non-Jedi? People talk about gank squads of Jedi, well if you nerfed Jedi doesn't that just mean those same people will just use their alts to gank people in the same type of group? Or is the complaint we shouldn't see as many Lightsabers being used in combat as much as we do now because of the supposed timeperiod?

Either way, SaberTEF will not come back unless the Reward for being a Jedi is brought back up. If the reward was there I would even go further past SaberTEF and include a weeklydeath counter for skill loss (deaths reset every week). Until something is done to make Jedi stronger in the main combat abilites I really can't see any changes being done.
