One tip if your mark makes it to the LOS:

Aggro all wookies on yourself and pull them all to the LOS. That way you can halt all grinding at that instance and take them hostage until your mark will come out from the LOS to fight you.

It's also an effective way to punish the jedis who are supporting this cheat/exploit. Many has reported me for this, but nothing has heppened. I have reported jedis for usgin the LOS too with the same result , so it seems SOE/CSR dont care about this.

Good hunting

The best non burst running way to get past the spiders is to nail the ones that hit you with a kd and keepmoving. After one knockdown they follow for a bit then give up. The really persistant ones I hit with a root. This works well as long as you don't have too many on you. A dozen is really a pain, but it was my fault for being in a hurry.

I am a Bounty Hunter
I am not a mercenery caring only for credits.
I am not an assasin out for the kill.
I am here for the thrill and challenge of the hunt
But not anymore so it seems.

found this in the carbine section and made a copy paste:

One of the best uses I have found is using it to get away from bad sitituations. Set Supression as your auto-attack and run and you can get away from anything not ranged. A good use of this is running the web-weaver path, just target each new spider as you're passing it and fire when it attacks you. Your auto-attack will keep it refiring and the whole time the distance between you and it keeps increasing. Also like to use it on high lvl creatures in group. I'll use supression on auto with a cripple thrown in as needed while the rest of the group hammers it with damage shots/states/etc. Did the Kartarn in the Ryyatt Trails with 3 MBH/MCarbs without any of us getting a scratch. I did supression/cripple to keep it slow, another did all states, the 3rd all damage shots. Worked great. Supression comes in very handy properly used.

just want to know if there is a quick way to find a mark in a zone..?

atm I go to the ryatt trail.. go into a zone.. type /who so I know how many jedi are there... but with no names for the mission I have to find them all..

and those zones can be rather big in my opinion...

Getting to the instances is easy and you will find half of them afk (depending on your style this could be good, bad or niether).

Get the trail guide quest, go to the three levels and you will never have to fight your way to web weaver path again, you can just instantly warp there from the gate.

Keep track of what instances you are visiting, chances are you will only have to visit 3 (on average) before finding your mark.

Always check the cloning booth to the left of the entrance, you might find your mark there (easy afk money if nothing else, although I have actually had TWO pitch battles with non afk jedi right at the entrance when I enter, so be ready always))

Be creative on how to avoid the spiders getting to the wookie village, spend sometime at the front to see how Jedi get there. If all else fails, get parawan nutricake and this should give you multiple burst runs, use ruby beil to heal yourself much faster if you have low healing abilities.

You might also want tospend one night just watching and visit every instance, take a list of names down, more to keep track of how populated the instances are. As an example I go toa few certain instances first and usually find my mark, only because the jedis love this one instance, this may vary form server to server, you have to find the rhythm of your server.

When you see them grouped in their tight circle in the village use tab and cycle thorugh the radials, you will see the tabbing going through all the wookies, if a player pops up you have indentified your mark. This is the only way to find your mark on kashykk.

If you have a root attack get ready to use it if the Jedi runs for the bridge.

Hope this helps.

to be honest.... welll what can I say..

I fire up my pc.. read about pub 21.. 20k wookies.. only group quests nor for kash.. so I thought uh oh... smells like death.. but I also read ...elite bosses and BH armor... well ... I ran as fast as I could from kash...

went to tallus... then on landing at starport... destroyed my BH mission... sigh....

walked into the starport terminal.. sighting an attackable jedi going LD... well guessing it was my mark from just my destroyed mission.. I killed him on site.... no money.. but atleast some points and satisfaction... I love the smell of roasted Jedi

then as a mad man went to the BH terminals... got a lvl 80+ mark... which I followed to Danth... grrr a bull rancor throw me of my BARC.. disabled it ( love them as they are repaired for free) incapped me .. remind me nerver to chat too much in guild channel..... anyway ... on my second approach found the mark... went into combat... killed it with easy I can say.. ( MBH,MC, CM 4,0,0,0) and WOOTgot a schematic for BH gloves.....

will be a while before I hunt a jedi ... but will get me that kash quest someday.... and killing jedi and the thrill of seeking is still great fun... and seeing how I died on my npc mission not that more dangerous

If the CSR would deal with the exploitersthen it wouldn't come down to this.
