Thanks for taking the time to read this. I always wanted to be a BH since before the game was released. When it came out though all I heard was how broken the prof was and I found a bunch of other fun profs to try out. Then came the jedi grind (holo, then nade). Anyway I unlocked right in the middle of the respec period. So I was a little distracted with my new jedi to take advantage of the respec to try out some BH.
I don't have much interest in Jedi Hunting, except to try it once or twice (no DBs, creds only... I know I am a carebear). But these new Boss NPCs sound like a lot of fun. I recently used my token respec to go up to MLS and now I have about 70 or so skill points left.
I was wondering if this was enough to get the BH skills needed to pull these missions. I am assuming I need some part of the 4000 tree (is 4 more frequent to get boss marks then 3 or 2?) This would be a nice distraction from the daily jedi grind and I would love to get my hands on some cool loot.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to listen to a jedi on your forums.

You dont get money from a Jedi mission if you dont DB the Jedi (unless the player pays you off, that is).
You need MBH to pull the boss missions and Jedi player missions.
Scout 4xxx = 29 SP
Marksman xxx4 = 29 SP
MBH = 63 SP
====================
total: 121 SP

Yes I understand how the Jedi hunting works (I have been hunted MORE than enough). I was referring to the fact that once I incapped some one I would tell them that they could pay me xxx credits to go away. If they didn't I would probobly end up going away anyway (but the cash would be better). Anyway that was not the point of this thread.
Thank you Eskie for posting the numbers, but I was unaware you needed MBH to get the NPCs. I thought I was reading just today on here that people were getting the tough NPCs with less than MBH. (Once again I am a BH n00b so I have no idea what I am talking about here). Is there a difference between Boss (2 chevs) and other high ends? Can you get good loot from any of the +80 marks or only the chev ones. This is pretty new so I don't think I noticed a sticky with this info yet. But if I missed it feel free to point it out.

As far as I understood it the boss NPC marks are reserved for MBH, you can of course get other NPC marks as soon as you have Novice BH. I could be wrong, though.
The difference between regular, elite and boss mobs mainly is higher HAM and higher regen rates along with higher damage output. I dont know if loot is just tied to level or if it is tied to level and elite status, but there are threads floating around here stating NPC level / eliteness and loot drop for series of 20+ NPC missions you could look at to get an idea.

LOL, I meant I was too slow at writing my response to you. Once I posted it someone else had just written the exact same stuff as I. So I edited my post to what you saw above.......But I can imagine you have to be fast as a Paddie...

Jorvas, I know exactly what you were referring to. And I was making a play on it into the game.
