Hey I just have a quick question about using armor, my template is MBH/MCM/0004 Pistoleer so I have full battle and Assualt Certification but only small recon armo cert. My question is, is it better to take the stat mods from the recon armor for the better protection or go with battle armor which will have no mods on it. I know Battle armor is crafted around 6500 (primus) while recon is like 8000. So in short will I come out better if I use an armor that will not effect me in battle but offer less protection or take the hit in mods and get the better protection? Thanks in advance.

For most Marks I wear assault FP armor , If overt its 7000 5000 6000 base. Or RIS armor 6000 across. For NPC hunting? ST armor 6500 both, but 5400 base. Since all PC fighting is melee kinetic I do most of my fights in ST armor now. Have yet to see a "real" difference in slow down for armor being there is food for acc or speed..

I thought that jedi's lightsaber attacks did energy damage, lol if they do kinetic then I have no problems

LS is melee energy damage, with a little elemental on top.

My bad on the kinetic, That again is why I run with ST armor. The Assualt armor is Kinetic only basicly.
