I need some advice. I was hunting a Jedi the other day. I lasted about 5 min before my action ran out and I could not hit him fast enough. I looked at my combat log and I was only doing 80- 300 dmg. What is that about. My min dmg with pup is about 535dmg. I believe he must have been MDEF or something else, I dont know.

Any advise on how to help even up the odds.

it's difficult to give advice when you don't say what your template is.

the way i handle it as a MBH/MRifle/CM:

(1) hit him with poison/fire dots and make sure they're on him at all times

(2) drink pyro

(3) use /aim before drinking the pyro

(4) when his aura drops for a split second hit him with a KD+startle, then unload w/ your high damage shots

(5) when he gets back up continue using ranged shot/placed shot

(6) dizzy him when you can

it's important to drink pyro and use /aim to overcome his high defenses.
