With new hunting system it becomes critical to approach the jedi undetected and stalk him without him knowing you are there. Out proffession offers us almost no tools that can help us with out job, and lately we are left with almost no RAPID strike option which was one of our best tactics. With no Jedi names its very annoying when you find the pack of jedi in the middle of the lair and while you run you /cycletarget macro jedi uses duel on you and either cloaks or runs.

Now to the Ace part. When we find the jedi our armor and weapons immediately give us away. You never see jedi run away when he sees another robe wearing flashlighter comming his way ? I think that it will be my last and most outrageos trick that BH could ever use. I been in the village for quest rewards for few cycles, so I got 5 trees unlocked...with next phase I will become one with the enemy.

I will do enough paddy trials to get myself a robe and glowstick, after that I will start my last ditch assault on jedi. I will get the mission and find grinding group my mark is in, I will grind with them and watch my mark and his stats. When he will be most vulnerable I will whip out my Carabine and finish him.

This might not be the easiest way to hunt nor its the cleanest way, but lately I can hardy do 1 mission a day so its crucial to have a good timing and good moment. Hopefully this technique will give me some edge over Jedi. What do you guys think ?

but to me the principle of the matter just sucks ... people are starting to resort to becoming jedi just to fight jedi ...

Very well said. But it seems like only way to get around the system and be competitive.

A keen sense of well developed paranoia.

If I were an impartial party member (non Jedi or BH,) I would immediately leave the party and put the BH on the /ignore list. Yeah, we need to fix the problem of getting first strike, but this is REALLY cheap.

Besides, don't you think a Jedi is going to /duel you before they group up with you, regardless? I would...

So let me make sure I understand you....BH should not get fisrt strike now? Correct me if I'm wrong......

No, of course they should. They need to fix the issues with first strike (like you hitting a Jedi, a Jedi cloaking, then attacking YOU with first strike.

OF COURSE we should have first strike.

I'm just saying that when you party with someone, do it for the right reasons...

He is doing it forthe right reasons. Besiders it's not cheap. He is being as good a BH as he can be under the new system. It's a good tactic to group with them and wait till they are at thier weakest.

As a hyper-paranoid Jedi, I find nothing wrong with the OP's tactic. If you're silly enough not to screen your groupmates, you need a wakeup call.

If you're Jedi and not paranoid, you're not paying enough attention.

i would have to agree ... although the idea is clever ... i actually dont think it will work much because of the /duel check-up ... when you have a jedi's mission they can /duel you, and if a message appears to them telling them they cant duel you they know you have their mission and the sneak attack is lost ....most jedi know the trick ( thats why i talk about it openly).. so this tactic is kind of .. well .. "antiquated".. it wont work
