Thread: Fellow Master Bounty Hunter's what kind of armor do you wear?

I have worn the Ubese Armor when I my temp was MBH/MR, it all broke too.
I then swiched to the Clone Armor, but then it all fell apart when I was MBH/MCM
I am now using Rebel Battle Armor, I have not had a chance to hunt in it yet.
What is your opinions on this?

go with whatever armour you can wear that has highest energy resists...very few jedi will end up pulling a kinetic weapon on you...6000 energy is norm for battle armour unless you get layered

Mabari, Tantel and Rebel Marine armor (recon) have 8k energy resists. I wear Mabari but it looks like someone from Shyrwood Forest made it. Id go with rebel marine, but its about 2.5mill a suit on my server.

I wear Tantel with 7700 energy reist, 6000 special and like 5500 kinetic. All four socket stuff with a total of +26 vs KD, and working on melee def, so far just + 10 for that. Also find some pre CU boots and gloves that have not been converted they still have slots that you can use prior to converting. Also get all of them sliced for armor break to 75% and I use the last of the customization to add one level of hardening. Expect to pay a bunch to get the armor break to the third tier level though. I am a master smuggerl and had a lot of AUKs to convert so it was free for me. BTW I will cut ay rebel MBH a good deal on a full slice whuile I still have padding and reactive coatings in stock. Just send me an ingame tell or message.
By the way in combat using this I have not been KD or had an armor breakyet by a full template and I only take about 25% of the damage from the LS, now if I can just figure out how to hit a MDEF i got it made. Preventing KD and armor break will keep you alive a lot longer.

Good energy armor (Ubese or Tantel or Scout), or good battle armor preferrably RIS armor with energy/kinetic layers (highest I've seen was 6400+) and get the stuff sliced for armorbreak reduction.

if you are MBH MCM like me, id go with RIS. look different then everyone else (in a good way).
of course i hope you got XXmilliona to buy a suit...depending on your servers prices =)

Does anyone know of a good and stable armorsmith on Starsider? I'm having trouble finding good crafters that haven't respec'd into something else and disappeared.
