Hey,
I'm usually not one to moan and complain but gimme a f'n break. Here's my template and stats:
M rifle
M Bounty
Pistol 0003
Medic 0200
I have the following + attachments on
+25 healing effiency
+20 Rifle Defense
+24 General Ranged Speed
+36 General Ranged Acc.
+22 Rifle Speed
I use Mabari armor with 8102 energy Defense.
My rifle is Kryated Laser. Max Dmg pup'ed is around 1335
Yet, I usually only win 1 out of 5 times. I have learned my character backwards and front wards. spent countless millions on attachments to give me the edge I need against jedi. But for what? All they have to do is either Turn on Force Valor or force run and run away. This system is pathetic. at least pre-20 I would know alittle bit about my target before randomly just rolling up on them. Sony needs to quit babying' the freakin' Jedi and help some other classes out. How do we get nerfed, god forbid your new jedi die....Maybe if you'd make your fully temp padawans alittle F'N easier bottom feeding would have never happened. I usally NEVER complain, and love the bounty hunter class but what does it really take. Earlier today I hit my target on the first shot for 1750, followed by 650ish and another 600ish, he had barely 200 life left, i miss, he heals and ends up winning.
Don't want to sound like a baby, but for christ sake....balance this game.

In my tests withbh, using novice doc or cm 4/x/x/x is quite good and would allow you to heal on par with the jedi and grind them down because force heal uses mind as well as force and is cheaper sp wise than gaining doc or cm. However, if the jedi has force healing 4/x/x/x or doc or cm and you have veryfew medic skills then you will struggle against them and i think this maybe why you lose more than you win. Something else to bear in mind is the jedi can use holos to replenish the force bar so this doubles the length of time they can use force healing, one holo can be used once every 24 hours though.
For info, mrifles and mbh is a great template combo and if you find this fun I would keep it, just improve your healing skills!

Hmmmm, perhaps try some different tactics..
Example:
2 days ago at the Imperial Outpost on Talus: I ran across my mark, she was standing just outside the gate. I rode right up on my Barc, passed her and went inside. As I passed her I targeted her so I could keep an eye on her location while inside the walls. I drop my bike off and store it and casually walk back around the wall. She must have been in a conversation, but there were serveral people around so I tried to blend in. Knowing all she need do is /duel and I would be discovered.. I walk up next to her and start a conversation about being a Jedi. I figure I have a few minutes before the cats out the bag so I ask her if she would like to group. Trying whatever I can to keep from jumping the gun and blowing my cover. She accepted the group invite and asked where we were heading.... I figure Dant is a good place to go, start up a group etc. etc. To make a long story short, she never knew I had her mission until we were on Dant killing some Bols, I waited patiently for her to use up as much of her power as I could possibly stand before I pounced. It took a good 45 minutes, she sat down and started doing her thing to get power....I knew it was now or never. Knockdown, Bodyshot, Crit, Crit, Crit.... by the time she got up and ready, she was almost done for.... she goes for the heal instead of knocking me down... her mistake. Knockdown again... a couple more Crits, then I finish the job.
I was suprized that I didn't get a slew of angry /tells but she instead I got a "LOL" and a joking "You Jerk" spent several minutes after that talking with her, then moved on.
Was this a cheap tactic? I don't think so.... Simply used what I could to better my chances. I was nervous as all H*ll the entire time, not knowing if I could take her out toe to toe like I was. Distraction can be your friend

I understand we have to use tactics but ya know with the probably 30 mil in attachments I've spent, it should be somewhere between almost a even fight or alittle under. I mean Jango done a excellent job on Obi-wan but somehow the jedi always prevail lol
like i was saying, not really complaining, just angry how they get it all handed to them on a silver platter and the Bh population gets a nerf Laff

Not sure any of the professions get anything handed to them on a silver platter, more like a steaming pile of Picket Poo.
It just seems like the shovel of poo tilts our direction more.

I see cloak and force run seem to be an issue, certain bh templates are better against certain jedi templates.
Say the jedi is mls/mdef and enhancer 4/4/0/0 then some 'control' maybe necessary this comes from the pistoleer and carbineer professions. As long as you stay close enough to the jedi using control attacks you should win because you will always be in control if you use your skills properly and you can heal where he cannot.
I have had a look at some of the other jedi templates and one looks tricky to fight against ls 4/x/x/4, mdef, healer 4/x/x/x and enhancer 4/4/x/x but again i think crowd control is useful in this case because the jedi is unlikely to stay and fight with a saber, preferring to run as you've found. Again use control to stop the jedi from cloaking and running and grind the jedi down.
I wouldn't say that a jedi running from a fight is a failure on your part, I would say it's a success on both sides! I know you haven't been paid or killed the jedi but the jedi will remain on the terminals for another 3 weeks and the jedi will be on the run for a while so it's only a matter of time before the jedi is killed.
I'm wondering if a combination of carbineer and rifleman maybe the way to go, maybe mbh, mrifles andcarbineer x/4/4/x using ruby bliel for 30 seconds stim reuse time sounds a good option. Just a thought.

not a flame. I know you know our profession inside and out.
is there something that you do that doesnt make you victorious?
youmentioned jedi running and such. when you have a complete engagement, what is the ratio of your victories?
if they lose more then maybe a different tactic is in order, if even or to the win side, then you have nothing to worry about. you are doing fine.
i still get my arse handed to me by BHs. though my winning ratio is increasing the more i get stronger.

You BH's probably no more about my profession than I do.
More times than not I end up getting into a stalemate. I don't have cloak and can see where this is a VERY cheap skill (although force powers is really on the receiving end of that picket poo shovel
). I myself am a 4/x/x/4 saber, master def, 4/x/x/4 enhance, 4/1/x/x healer. As you can see my template is more of a tank and supporting role Jedi. I have won plenty of fights (to be completely honest.....most were respec BH's that didn't have a clue). With most experienced BH's like yourself I end up getting into an all out stalemate (I have figured out how to keep force up WITHOUT popping holos) or I end up running away (pre publish 20 multiple BH's on 1 fights).
As someone said before running away is a win on both sides as most Jedi will run away if they KNOW they aren't going to win and then you will get the occasional Jedi that will stay in fight inspite of knowing that they are going to lose.
Sounds like if you and I locked up we would either get into a stalemate or I would end up running away as you can heal faster and better than I can do damage to you.

Good Luck!
