Thread: so what kind of an exploit is this?

I have a BH and a jedi, but since the patch where only mbh can hunt jedi, i couldnt check this....
i'll be grinding wherever (usually ryatt) and i'll have a bh come for me, kill me, within 5 mins he'll come back kill me again, and then 10 mins, he comes for again! and he wont say anything but a LOL
is this an exploit or just my pure luck? this happened like 3 times so far...

Could be the bug where you dont lose the bh tef. Thought it would have been fixed by now.

Do you lose xp every time he kills you?
Sounds like the perma-BH-TEF bug as far as I can tell, there are instances when the BH and the Jedi dont lose their TEFs on each other after the completion of the mission.
Nevertheless, I would ask him to stop and if he doesnt I would report him because there is no way he can pull your mission within 5 mins over and over again post-pub 20, and if he is using the perma-BH-TEF bug to attack you over and over again he is exploiting.

the same guy? Honestly with the offline jedi bug that was in untill suposedly today. This is almost impossible. Ive seen BH's check 20 marks before finding one that was online.
Kinda hard to belive this could happen.

i'm not really sure whats going on... this happened about 3-4 days ago alot, but not since.... but i just though i post about it today.... i'm thinking somehow my vis wont clear (which maybe is a bug) and then he does something to somehow pull my mission again (maybe an exploit or just my pure luck)

the same person who does this to me (its actually 1 person) just killed me again! lets see what happens inabout 10 mins

File a harassment ticket if he comes back. He is obviously either exploiting the BH terminals and is able to bypass the random mission generator (very unlikely) or he is exploiting the perma-BH-TEF bug.

since you don't lose exp in the ryatt trail
and
you get ported back to the gate when you die
and
this way a BH won't get paid when he kills you in webweaver path
and
this is working as intended, according to the interview with whoever was responsible for this 2 weeks ago
i don't see a problem.
you can always grind the regular way with exploss on death instead of the chicken webweaver path way

Since when dont you lose xp to a BH DB on Kashyyyk?

What Eskie said. Exp loss is delivered on deathblow (or, post-CU, the final incap in a tripple incap), not on cloning, or in the Ryyyat respawning.
If you go right back to grinding, your vis is likely to go right back to terminal. But I daresay it's completely impossible to be lucky enough to pull your mission that many times in a row. It really does sound a lot like a bugged perma-TEF
