Thread: Armor for hunting jedi and for pve

Just a little confused on the matter. I am almost a MBH, MCarb, CM 4000 and I am about to purchase armor. Since I'm a carbineer and can't wear recon armor, what kind of armor should I be getting to hunt jedi? Also what kind of armor should I get for just doing NPC bounties and other PvE (including soloing high end mobs)?
Someone mentioned getting Marauder armor (battle armor i think?) for fighting jedi and make sure it has >7000 energy resist? Isthat right? Should I be using this kind of armor against PvE missions as well or go with a high kinetic resist?
Can anyone give me some advice on which armor for hunting jedi, which armor for standard pve, and which armor for fighting high end mobs, especially mobs that can shoot me with ranged weapons?

when hunting jedi go for high energy, when hunting pve go for high kinetic/shrug.

battle armor all the way unless your doing creature PvE. The new NPC bounty hunter missions coming with publish 21 will make you really like battle armor for the equal resists. player jedi bounties you want energy layered battle armor. creature missions use assault armor

So Jedi and NPC bounties use battle armor and creatures use assault armor, but what is the armor names? Like Battle armor = maurauder? What about assault armor? Is that composite or something?

This is the armor, m'man
For PvE you need some good Assault armor like Composite, Bounty Hunter, Chitin, etc. Also Kashyyykian Hunting, Ithorian Sentinel, Maurader Assault, Rebel Assault, & Snocktrooper.
For Jedi, Recon like Ubese, Tantel & Mabari & Battle like RIS, Bone & Padded. Also Kashyyykian Ceremonial Armour, Kashyyykian Black Mountain, Ithorian Guardian & Defender, Maurader Recon & Battle, Rebel Marine & Battle & Scout & Stormtrooper.
