Thread: question abought Root?

I am a MBH, MR and have medic 0-3-4-0 and the scout that it takes to get BH and marksmen 4-4-0-4. the question that i have is in the forms i see people talking abought Root! What in the game makes you use root. I know that there is snare and that slows them down but what skill is root. Also is there any form that list all the commmads and what they do better than the ingame expleantion. Thanks

Typically when you hear root, people are referring to Stopping Shot, in pistoleer. There is also Combat Medic's Paralyze, but it breaks on damage, whereas you can fire away with Stopping Shot on them. Regular Stopping Shot is gained by xxx1 pistoleer, and Improved Stopping Shot is gained in xxx3 pistoleer.
You can try this for the command info. Dunno if that works better, I don't read much on skill descriptions, but if you put in the appropriate skill boxes for a special, then click "View Report", it'll give you a breakdown of all the skills you gain from having that many skill boxes and such. Pretty handy thing.

Yeah that helps alot. I know now why I dont have it then cause I dont any pistoler. Thanks.

improved stoping causes more damage, longer root time, and more acurate. Definately want a root in your arsenal, there is also the novice smuggler concussion shot. If you want to kite the devil outta them, get MBH, pistols x x x 1, and novice smuggler. Pick up M rifles if you have room, and you are set.
