Thread: Deciding between two templates

I am trying to decide between MBH/MPistoleer/4-0-0-0 CM and MBH/MRifleman/0-4-0-4 Pistoleer for jedi hunting. Any suggestions?

After having Master Bh/pistols/CM 4000 i found out that its not very good. Had the best scatter pistol available (capped damage, speed slice, 79 SAC) and yet i still do about 400 max damage to Master defenders, the damage output really isnt good enough or quick enough. Changing the Master pistols to rifles now, and ill see how that is.
Do think Healing is important though so may wanna try MBH/MR/cm 4000. No root, but with the good damage, and snare and startle shot, then you may not need it.

I am going for the same template but with carbines, I hope it is viable.

i have the MC/MBH/ CM template
works pretty good, just stay out of range and keep your swoop out. the most likly wont notice it, and even if the do.....that gives you time to attack without taking damage. remember...they cant heal on the ground...get them low and then KD

I'm pretty sure Jedi can heal on the ground - and everybody can use stims while knocked down.

i tried the MBH, MR, and 4000CM, but although it had a good snare, a root is something that cant be replaced. i forget the max i could get off a bacta shot at 4000 CM, but right now as a MBH, MR, 0020 medic and 0003 pistols with a +17 healing eff'(kinda cheap and best i could find so far; havent put too much effort into looking for higher)shirt i get a 966 bacta shot and a pretty decent root, been working great.

What about 4/0/0/0 doc?
Not enough skill points. Doc requires two trees in medic, while CM requires one. MBH/MCarbs/4000CM takes 247SP, MBH/MCarbs/4000 Doc would take something like 262SP.

I'm MBH/MCarbs/4000 CM, and it works fantastically. I can bacta shot for over 1200. If I alternate Bacta Shot and Bacta Spray, I can heal mywhole health in no time. Add a little Booster Blue and it takes forever to run out of mind. There's also Healing Eff foods you can eat, which will increase your heals even more.
Pub 21 is reducing bacta shot for the improved version, but it's only by about 100. So it's not that big a difference.
