Too bad it won't last, but damn, SOE did something right for once.

God bless them.

Its even worth the lag in Kaadara.

Why do people think the Developers will nerf BH marks loot drop percentage?

Those smuggler components drops will be a regular loot in a few weeks, they will not be rare anymore. The only worthwhile loot would be the CAs and AAs whichI only got 2 for hunting NPC mark the whole day and these 2 skill tapes are not even range skill tapes which is useless for me. Second worthwhile loot is the BH armor schems but we have seen the stats on it already which is less than 6k energy defense. My Battle Padding Armor is still much better with 7k energy defense.

The loot drop percentagehas already been tested on the Test center. I think it would be unintelligent for the Developers to implement a change and then change it again. It was just a matter of changing the percentage from 100% drop rate to say 50% drop rate. I am sure they have their own logical explanation why they did not alter that drop rate.

lol ... yeah I noticed this right off the bat

I also noticed a LARGE number of jedi missions available... most of the time I went to pull an NPC mission, there were only one or two on the page... the rest were jedi... then again Ahazi is pretty high pop.

alot of ppl cant get stuffed sliced coz the loot for rare....now with it dropping like crazy, there will be a good supply running round and smugglers can then set up business

This should be a GOOD thing for smugglers, I dropped smuggler last week because I was getting NO business from slicing due to not having any componments left and having to tell people to go get the componments if they want me to slice them.

Remember how expensive and rare the Geonosian sonic blaster and DXR-6b Tenlos rifle were and suddenly 2-3 months later they were springing up everywhere and dropping in prices drastically? Everything will go that way no matter what, it's the way this game's economy works, the now valuable SEAs and componments will get cheaper in a month.

I think it was a great idea to make some of this loot we're getting more available to bounty hunters.

Killing Jedi can sometimes be a difficult and long task. In many cases it sometimes results in death. On some days, I have to spend more money on equipment then I can make in a week at my usually 5-8 Jedi kills per weekend.

Making this loot will ease up on the Bounty Hunter pocket books.

On the server I am from, Radiant, we have an issue with incredibly rich Jedi and Jedi related guilds (Jedi or Not) hogging the Reactive Armor Platings on the server since they are so far and few between.

Before pub21, Reactive Armor Plating was selling anywhere from 250k-750k depending on how bad it was needed. Now we're looting 2-5 of them per day on average.

This is a great thing for both sides...

- Less Bounty Hunter's going for AFK grinders in Kashyyyk
- Bounty Hunters saving millions of credits on equipment
- Gave Bounty Hunters an actual reason to hunt NPC's again

And as a side note, I would say 50% of our Bounty Hunter population are Jedi alternates. While this may not be the case for all servers, it is definatly the case for the Radiant server. So it's still a win-win situation for both sides.

That's why I use Dearic. BH term 200m or so from the starport, top-tier informant 40m from there, all on the edge of town. And no other players, at least on my server.

Almost guaranteed - the "nerf BH loot" posts are already starting to mount up from, yes you guessed it, every "lewt horz" in the game.

The smart thing to do would be to offer such "cool things" to all the professions in the game.

My money is on the good loot being removed, with a patch note telling us how great they are for "fixing" this awfully important issue. :-|
