Thread: Master carbineer/Master BH, for jedi hunting

Right now im a master pistoleer, MBH, 24FS, medic 0030. I do great against jedi, i can dance with them forever until they die, cloak, or force run away. Myissue is damage output and i am thinking about switching to either rifles or carbs. I kinda like carbs as i started as a carbineer 2 years ago. If your a Master carbineer/ master bh and hunt jedi, please post the pros and cons of these templete. I have lots of rifleman friends so i know all the advantages and disadvantages about that template already. Thanks

whats the damage on the carbines your using? and if your having a problem with obtaining high damage carbs better than what you have I suggest going RIfleman.

no ,i am a master pistoleer, i use a 966 damage capped FWG5. I feel i have mastered the way of the pistol and like to try another profession to complement my BH skills. I love pistoleer as the specials are awesome but the damage output is low and i was toying with the idea to switching to carbineer for more damage output, low SAC, and high speed. I would be replacing root for a snare, but the specials from carbineer seem to be hard hitting and fast. rifleman is the hardest hitting of them all but the SAC can be high even when capped at the min. Well any BH out there with master carbineer have any experience fighting jedi and what are your tactics. thanks

Carbineer is nice because it's attacks like Leg Shot and Charge shot are more powerful than their MBH counterparts. Elite Carbs normally have around 1000 damage and 70 - 80 SAC if made by a nice Weaponsmith so that's something to consider.
The downside is most of the attacks for carbs are Area and the rest arn't all that handy in taking down a jedi. You'll spam Leg shot and Adv critical a lot, I know I do.

Also, you'll suffer for your lack of a Root shot, I know I do.
My damage output is ok, and I use an E-11 Mark II with just over 1000 damage. I also have CM 4000, so the lack of Root isn't that much of a problem, but when your up against a MLS and MD, you really do miss it.

24 FS? Jedi Padawan? Why dont you get cloak and root from jedi skills?

24 FS, yes, i unlocked so i can have a second character. played around with jedi skills a little but but feels so dumb to be one in a time period when their shouldnt be any jedi, but i sure love killing them!

well i used my token respec for rifleman, there are too many advantages. I will miss the melee defense of pistoleer. I now have 170 melee defense with rifleman versus the 235 i had with pistoleer. Im gonna work on learning theart of the rifleman, i have completely mastered the way of the pistol so this should be fun learning a new way to fight. My Boss( guild leader) talked me out of respecing to carbineer.
