Thread: Ranged Death Blow?

When you get a successful ranged Death blow on someone what will the combat dialgue window display. Will it merely stat you have done the sniper shot or will it state something to the effect that the person was db'ed, etc?

same system message you get when you normally deathblow someone

it will state that you "have slain xxxx". Then, you should see a message about faction gain/loss.

Your combat log will also say you used snipershot on whoever it was for 50 points of damage. Unless of course they dodge it. I dont know how but my snipershots have been dodged a few times.

Hehe, I had the jawa out, with the crumby range mods of course and went to sniper a fencer-type guy. Anyways, missed 3 times in a row...gotta love that.

Im new to rifleman post CU and i would post this in the rifleman forum but i am a bh and hunt jedi. I was Master pistoleer and now switching to rifles. I was wondering how does a ranged DB work? I heard that rifleman still have this abilty. Is it advance Sniper shot since the warm up timer is nearly the same as the DB timer? IS their a minimum max range that this can work in? Or is this a bunch a BS i heard and their is no ranged DB.

i thought the ranged DB was no longer, i knew sniper shot before the CU had a ranged DB buti still gotta stand next to the incapped jedi and /deathblow for the money still. I guess that guy was full of it. Thanks.
