Thread: Ok, how do you win against high lvl marks? I am getting whipped?
You got Medic and you lose? How the............
I'm MBH/Mrifleman with only stim Ds........heck i don't even need to use the stim unless it's a boss.
Are you wearing armor? a decent set can cut almost 50% of the damage.
Otherwise.....i guess you just suck heh.

How about giving him some worthwhile advice instead of insulting him?

What are you doing? Are you using spice or foods? If you are having a tough time then I'd recommend treating that NPC like a PC and getting buffed up with foods and spice when you are within 100m and ready to attack. Canape, Brandy, thundercloud (+97 ranged def on my server's chef), and then pop a booster blue. Some have said to have ruby handy to be able to use stim's faster, but you have healer in your build so perhaps some healing effbonuses could do you some good? Armor and a good PSG are pretty important too.

I can't really offer you advise based on what you have told me.
What kind of weapon you using (What are the stats) ? You got HE clothes? How bout foods? Give us some details, man... we need details!
I don't know what to tell you there bud.... I've been killing lvl 84 marks since last week and was doing just fine. Im MBH/MCM, but even if you use stim d's you should be fine. Also see if you can get a better armor....

The droid isn't worth the trouble...you need to practice some PvP against guildies, then take on the NPC's. The way they're working is more like a player than an NPC. (AI upgrade perhaps?)
But if you're not winning against a single NPC mark...well...you either need new foods and weapons, or need practice. BH is NOT easy...go out and try some of the normal level 82's on the planet of your choice...just get a mission and do it solo. Don't let anyone help you. Good way to get to know your template. This game is VERY soloable now...it just takes time. Too many people are dependant on being jedi to do things...go out and play the game. You'll find that there are prof builds out there that are just as strong and STRONGER than jedi...definetly templates that can outlast a jedi's fight time in PvE. (some of the melee/cm or doc templates are just silly)

I am using bacta shot, but htis guys is still just owning me.
I have shock trooper armor all over 6k base
I am just taking a lot of damage. I get him down to a 1/4 life bar then I run out of mind for bacta shot and incap

Anyway like i said, armor helps ALOT against NPCs.
That's because I'm not a MBH yet. I'm still doing the investigation xp grind. I didn't want to give him any advice as the marks I'm killing right now I can do without any armor and barely a decent weapon.
