Thread: Jedi mind set is disturbing, especially on kash.

I see flames comming on this one.
First of all I've been hunting Jedi for a while, and yeah, I have a Jedi also. But Millions of dollars later and been playing forever, what else is there to do ?
I've been taking out full temps for a while now, and I've had my but handed to me. I do it for pure pvp excitement. COuld care less about the money, or prestige.I time stamp attacks, study what went wrong, how much damage I take with certain foods, etc.
But for some reason Jedi seem to feel that MLS/Defender/ FR1 !!, is end game I'm uber, no one should be able to touch me, let alone kill me, blah, blah, blah. I've had a few talk smack, but changed their tone once I talked to them about current issues.
KASH GRINDERS HAVE THE NERVE TO GET UPSET WHEN YOU GOTO HUNT THEM OR ANY OF THEIR GROUPS MEMBERS.
Some feel that it's actually suppose to be a safe spot for them to grind without being disturbed at all !! And I find it hilarious when I see the little red glowy hand pop up from the macro that they're running. FOTM for everyone.
As a Jedi they need to understand that
1. You will be hunted.
2. No Jedi template is uber.
3. One day you will die, period. It's gonna happen.
4. Some Jedi actually want us to hunt them.
5.Overloading saber isn't cool.
And I hope the Jedi that did kill me there post here, he hit me maybe 4 or 5 times, I got incapped by wookies. I laughed through the entire fight. And I got the combat log to prove it.
Well gonna check out these npc missons and see what kinda loot I get

well duh. Your interrupting anothers time. Of course they'll whine and complain. Especially if they lose the work they just grinded from the past hours

What's more important is that SOE needs to produce literature detailing the existence and involvement of which a Jedi character is expected to encounter within this game. I've been playing a sometime and to this date I have NEVER seen anything assoicated with SOE that had given information relating to the events associated with Jedi.
If SOE could muster up something that would exist as a character profile I'm sure there would be less whinning about "boo hoo u killed me!!!"
And for the record, I agree with you. There's a sad view associated with those players that feel they should be given a full template character without doing any work. Unfortunately these players are also amongst the ones who are whinning that they do not get an "UB3E 1337" tunned pearl on the first try. I like the current status of pearls and crystals although I would to see them at a higher rate of frequency. (no, I do not have a max sabe - 650ish max dmg 27 fc)

This behavior exemplifies the childish behavior that exists amonsgt the player base. I save the /addignore for spammers and hate tells. Most of my BH encounters last an hour afterwards so I can help teach them what not to do and what works best on a Jedi. I also point out the buff icons and how to spot a weakness. (take my mission, please!)
It's too funny to see someone cry about being killed just to have another flame them. What should be done is to communicate "yeah, your gaurd was down and I poped you with 2 criticals in a row!!!" or "Damn, you need to work on your saber 'cs you're only hitting for 300 dmg!"
Guess this only shows the diversity of our society outside of the game and being that there's a good majority of "children" playing the game who've yet to mature...

If you are not on my ventrillo server then you are pretty much on auto-ignore.. I really don't care what excuse they have

Lol, I forgot to mention the master doc guard that they have at the entrance, rofl. He spams offers ride to you while you're searching the zones.

Indeed. Last night I got accused of harrassing a Jedi group. All I did was run down there and click click click to see if my mark was there (it wasn't). It wasn't my fault that many spiders followed me and the Jedi macros got the group agro. I sprint back up the trail on my way to the next instance. Then the tells start.
I get tell after tell, threat after threat from these schmucks. I'm violating the TOS and have been reported, etc etc. hmmm, I harrassed you?
So I go back down the trail andkill their mobs for the next 30 minutes or so.The first 5 minutes I got nothing but the expected tells and spacialgriping. Then it changed when they realized they weren't getting xp anymore. Needless to say they all shut their mouths (some begging in tells for me to just let them grind and they are sorry). It's nice teaching lessons to schmucks.
Damn I wish there was a genuine way to grief in this game. They don't know what harrassment is.

I don't... really... well, not most of the time.
(I played EQ on Tallon Zek... some of these kiddies need to experience a good old fashioned corpse camping.)
