Alright, lemme know what you think about this regarding strategy and Boss marks. I haven't found one yet that has been even remotely challening...I don't know how many people are...This food strategy assumes a MBH/4000 CM/master rifles or carbines template.

Piketta Pie, V. Canape, Citros Snow Cake, Blob Candy. For the ammount of time it will take to kill the mark with any decent gun, the timers on these foods should do just fine. From what I've experienced, the last 3 mentioned foods give a tasty health buff, while modding the regens by enough to make any needed difference and giving enough healing efficiency to help your heals count every time. The piketta pie still has that Dodge mod which I've heard isnt technically in the game any longer, but it tends to work something like duelist stance for me, helping me dodge more attacks than normal and mitigate some of the damage I take. Other than food, Booster Blue is the spice you'll be wanting for an extra bit of health, as well as action and mind regen. It makes a big difference. Aside from all that, just keep duelist stance on, keep your gun equipped, and keep shooting...it's nothing too hard. If you're a master carbineer like myself, I'd suggest alternating between critical shot and leg shot for your damage.

P.S. Make sure to lways keep the bleed from Torso Shot on your mark. Those bosses have great health regen, which that good bleed helps counter while you crank out the rest of your damage.

well Im pretty sure Ive been taking out boss marks (double gold chevrons, always dropped 4 loots, usually inc a SEA) - tbh Im hoping these are not the highest marks as they didnt pose much of a challenge, but as ever that as much to do with template as anything I guess

They took a few mins but no real problems tbh

I run Dueliststance on a macro and I run bactaspray on a macro too, manually using it when I need to. Im MBH/MP/CM4---, got std ubese and a decent scatter (nothing special mind you) - I could just stand there, auto attack and keep a state on him (wasnt too fussed which) or knock down and hit him with alternating torso or critical - very easy kills, much like most other single pull mobs of 81-82 lvl and decent health. Really these new missions are no trouble for the BH at all but are fun and the loot is good. Oh, I dont bother with doc buffs and usually only use a food that aids action regen.

I had a 32k boss mob on my 3rd mission, took my 3 tires to take him down.. i'm not sure if this will help but what i did was make a healing macro to keep me heal with out having to worry about hitting the heal hot key. took the food and drink needed and i just blasted away, torso shot and keep him blind.

as for the healing marco what i did was

i worte it this way title shot-- bactashot (my name); pause 10;/macro shot;-- this wil give be a bacta shot every 10 sec. just fool around with the timer also have a med droid out it helps. if you have spray or toss you can use the same.

then i made another macro for the stim-- i put my stim d in a toolbar for example slot 08. then worte this in

title stim- /ui action toolbarSlot08; /pause 61;/macro stim;-- this will give you a stim shot every 61 secs.

with all this healing just make sure you watch your mind and take some mind regen food.

also i tied them all in to one alias-- i wrote

title heal--/macro shot;/pause 5;/macro stim; then i went /alias heal /macro heal

what this did was if i was to take on a jedi or a hard npc i don't need to worried about remebering to heal myself, i shoot and then just type /heal and my healing cycle begins with a bacta shot and then follow by a stim ect...

just watch your mind and take some mind regen also if you use the macro play with your timer or adjust the timer according to your heal power.

I think I had a boss mark, cause I couldn't get this guy down past 3/4 his health. I'd have to shoot, heal myself, shoot, heal, shoot, heal, etc. Needless to say, I didn't get very far towards killing him.
My template is MBH, MR and 4000 CM.
From reading the forums, it seems others aren't having near the trouble that I seemed to encountered. So, could anyone share their tactic(s) for NPC hits?
Thanks

My BH alt is the same template as yours and i dont have any trouble killing boss marks. I use vangarian canape (sp?), berath of heave and piketa pie. I keep him on stats and KD as muich as i can, np really.

Problem is Elite Marks with silver symbols have about 20K HAM and are pretty easy but take some time. Then there are the Bosses with golden symbols who have~35K HAM. They are the hard nuts to crack.

my method is get a doc or cm to tag alon and heal you then just fight normal they may not be able to hit the mark but they can still heal you.

Thanks. Use the foods the guy said below this said, helps a ton.

I've had no problems with any of the npc marks. My food/drink is Mandorian (sp?) wine, won-won, and nuetron pixie. MBH/MCarbs/CM1000. If I need to heal, I shoot a KD and heal while they are down (and no med droid). And of course like the others said Duelist Stance FTW. I don't think they have ever taken off more than a third of my health. Oh, and a Grevious Striker carbine with 60 meter range helps too

Duelist stance macro helps out a ton, keep him blind. Ive found synsteak at the right moment to be very helpful. I need to find some of the less fill damage reducer and try that out (name escapes me). Im 1-1 with bosses now. still working on tactics for them.

Man I took out a boss earlier today but it took a couple tries to figure out the strategy. It reminded me of fighting a boss in final fantasy or something . My template is Master CM, Master BH, little bit of pistoleer(I don't remember exactly what). I was using a scatter for my weapon. I started off by taking a booster blue along with tea and blob candy. Then I hit him with every CM status I could and made sure to keep duelist stance on. After making sure all the CM stuff stuck I hit him with the other statuses off the BH line from confusion shot and blind. They hit hard so I had to keep healing the whole time and it took around 10 minutes. It's easy to kill them as long as you can keep your mind at a reasonable level so that you can continue to heal. Without CM I don't know how I would have done it. I got some awesome lot off him though!
