Thread: Results of first 25 NPC missions

Ok, I took the time to run 25 consecutive missions and keep careful track of the results. All marks were 31k+ bounty value.


Average time was approximately 8.5 minutes starting and returning to the BH terminal in Kaadara.


Of the 25 missions, 21 actually spawned an NPC with whom combat could be initiated. Of the 4 that were not completeable: 1 spawned as a white dot (no combat possible), 1 would have spawned in the middle of a lake (mission incomplete), 1 spawned inside a tree (totally obscured inside a large tree on Dath), and 1 that did not spawn at all.


Of the 21 that spawned: 16 were in the 17k health range (I guess the underboss type), 3 in the 7-8k health range (normal) and 2 at 30k+ (boss).


Of the 16 underboss types, 9 had 2 lootable items. Both boss characters had 2 items. All normals had 1 item.


Loot break down for the 21 NPCs:


6 mandalorian intraframes

5 reactive micro platings

5illegal core boosters

3 delicate trigger assemblies

5BH armor schematics

5jars of foraged bugs

2 armor attachments of around 20 total points

1 stack of crystilne clothing treatments


The smuggler parts are dropping heavy, obviously, and all of the NPCs had something to loot.

OMG nerf it for god sakes Nerf it your tooo uber l33T. your looting is 1.5% better than the rest of the game NERF NERF NERF.

Now that i have said what the trolls will say ill say what i want. Thanks for the Info Nice to see something i can compare my loot drops.

In about that many missions I have gotten enough mando interframes to hand out as favors at a party...not much else /

They were all Naboo -> Naboo low level missions right ?

Because otherwise I don't see how you can do :

terminal -> informant -> arakyd -> kadaara-starport -> planet where mark is -> seeker -> shuttle(optional) -> bike -> bike -> kill mark -> Planet starport -> Kadaara terminal

in only 8.5 minutes !!!

Because if so, please tell me your secret.. Especially when half the marks are on "danger" planets with no player cities and shuttles...

8.5 minutes was the average, the ones on naboo taking as little as 3 minutes round trip. The ones on Dath took the longest, the ones for Endor were spawning near the outposts for some reason.


As for the time, pulling the mission in kaadara, talking to the informant, calling and launching the droid and waiting in front of starship terminal take a total of90 secondsor so. Once you get a planet update, immediately take your ship there. As soon as you hit the target planet, check the overhead map to see where the initial target wp is. I usually launch a seeker at the same time. Shuttle ride, a k or 2 on most planets,,,, kill the mark, shuttle ride, ship terminal.... repeat. For my server, the only planet where there was a lot of chasing involved was Dath. Endor was a pretty quick, as I said, and Dant is covered by player cities.


Sometimes the marks spawn in an NPC or player city and it is very quick. Lower level marks will have fewer bosses and will be faster. Neither of the 30k health bosses were 8 minute jobs, but were quite challenging. They use specials a LOT and regen almost instantly if you kite them too far and they retreat.


Most of the time I could get 2 marks in the space of one dose of neutron pixie, so that was my unoffical time clock. The average was based on the total number of missions in the time.
