Thread: Droid Speed Tapes what exactly do they do?

I have gotten several droid speed tapes, and I am trying to decide what to do with them. I am MBH, and I don't know if the extra speed will help or not... Has anyone had any experience with this type of tape to tell me if it is worth putting together a BH speed shirt or something to make use of these tapes?
Also, does anyone know what would cap me on droid speed?

Driod speed improves the time it takes for your droids to feed back information to you. I use to search the bazaar for these before the CU, and ever since the CU, I don't really notice the speed anymore... but that is probably because I'm use to it.

Does it decrease the wait time after I launch the Arakyd droid into orbit to determine the planet my mark is on, or the amount of time that I wait after I send off a seeker droid to track my target, or the time between updates from the seeker droid, or some combination of the above?
For instance, if all it does is decrease the time between updates from the seeker droid, then I'm better off selling these tapes to a BH who isn't master and who may have slower updates. Mine are pretty fast at Master level. If it decreases the initial wait time from the Arakyd or seeker droids, then I think I'd rather use these tapes myself so I can start my hunts as quickly as possible.
Any idea which of the above examples is the case??

Does anyone know if these droid speed tapes actually work? I read someone else in a different thread saying that the droid tracking effectiveness tapes don't work. Anyone?
