What's a good carbine for a novice BH?
I actually did the quest to get the proton carbine last night. I was looking forward to useing it. BUt my friend who advised me to use it, failed to tell me it is a MBH carbine.
I have an elite carbine, but it blows, I can out damage it with my FW FWG5.
So any advice is appreciated.

Get an E11-Mk2... If you can afford it get a Krayt enhanced one... They are nice. I have one with almost 1100 max dmg, and 90 sac...

I was looking at an E-11 carbine, but they are master corbaneer weapon. i unfortunatly do not have carbineer

I'd probably just stick with a low sac Elite..They can get pretty high damage if made right. That, or perhaps a Czerka dart carbine might be alright..

I am MCarb and never noticed the E11-Mk2 had the Master Cert, lol... Sorry for the wrong info :-P... A Krayt Enhanced Elite Carbine can get almost as good as an E11-Mk2...

If you head to the carbineers forum, on the top stickied is weapons.. you'll find a list of carbines, what masteries(if any) and what skillboxes(if any) are needed for them and there "average" DPS/speed etc.
This should be able to answer your question.
The bothan Carbine you get from completeing the syern's chapter 4 quest is a good one also.. 312(i think) dps non-sliced base)

Thanks for the advice everyone, and np about the E-11carbine info.
I hink I'll try and get a krayated elite carbine. Hopefully I can get one without selling my firsborn
