Thread: Hello, advice killing forcerun jedis. (not a crynerf thread)
Today, my third day as a MBH, I got a mark at lok. Went there and found him, he killed me. After that, I got his mission again, and this time I managed to get him out of mind.
what is your current template?

When I finally got him out of mind he force run'd and I couldnt catch him.He had an electrolyte drain on him, I unequiped my riffle and tried to burst run. But then the electrolyte wore off and I had not a chance to catch him. He ran fast enough and when I mounted my bike and followed my droid he has already logged (Or LD'd) anyway, his toon wasnt there, and I felt like all the work was lost. By that time I tred to figure a way to catch those runners but with my current template I think that its a bit difficult. What do you think?

always keep a snare/root/kd on them. if you're gonna take on full temp jedi, there really isnt any other option.
Good idea ![]()
Here's the problem with that line of thinking. Most BHs are set up to fight MLS/Mdef (the Jedi FOTM). When you come across a MLS/Menhancer you are toast. Stasis is a 40 second root/daze. This is my opening attack on BHs. That way you can watch me fire up all my enhancements/eat my foods/use my spice/ect. There is not 1 BH template that will be good against ALL Jedi templates. And with enhancer I can spam supression just as much as you can crippling shot/stopping shot (or whatever roots/snares you use). Also kd isn't that great either. I can still outheal you damage while on my back.
Force run is just like cloak. When Jedi usethemthat just means they don't want to fight you.....lol.
It's tough, especially with the speed penalties for ranged weapons, but it can be done.
Burstrun after them or use Parwan. Best thing to do is to type /follow so you can focus on your attacks. In my TKM days, I hit /follow very early on, because in those days it was the JEDI who tried to kite ME.
Switch to a pistol. Better yet, if you're MCM, unequip your weapon but have it hotkeyed on your toolbar. I have a "burstrun" toolbar set up that I can switch to using alt-~, which is identical in most respects to my normal one, except with my PvP weapon and Parwan on it.

The bottom line is that anyone who has FR2, and is determined enough to get away, will probably get away. It worked for gui-gon and obi-wan against the droidekas...
