I was doing a little testing with my HLR, and it seems that the Jedi I've been attacking cannot block incoming attacks, be it default attacks or specials. I just want to know if I'm delusional, or if this is really true... If so, yay.

Hmmmm could be good BUT now that its here THEY will see it and hit /forcewhine, /forcecry3 which will be followed by /forcenerf!

What is your friend's template?

HLR is not unblockable, combat logs do not reflect blocked shots. When you hit a jedi and he/she blocks it, it shows the damage over their head, but then also shows the white +Block+ which makes the damage not compute.

Not exactly sure what his template is, but he's full template, and has Master Defender. And no, I was getting no white +Block+ above my friends head when I was dueling him. At the time I was just letting the gun randomly fire off the default attack.

Either it seems to be unblockable, or the block-rate is drastically less than laser weapons.

im gonna say it again, its not unblockable.
The element damage of HLR is just an added bonus and a flashy graphic. It is no different than shooting an ALR. It is still energy, it is still the same gun type, just with a bonus to damage, and a flashy graphic.

It's not unblockable, with my Jedi eating Vayerbok I +Block+ ALOT, maybe every 3/7 shots from a guy using a HLR.

Does your friend have MLS or at least LS tech 4?
