Thread: Whats wrong with me???!!!
the melee bonus from vegeparsine is broken ![]()
trust me ivetested it, same damage as before i used it
and try using the SAC reducing PuPs and a combo of Bofa Treat, Blob Candy, and Caf. +180 action/health regen, +180 hp, and +100 mind regen for an hour. i never run outta of action with that and a SAC PuP.
and for those super hard bounties try using one of those +2k hp buff crystals for a small advantage.
Sorry dude, I was joking.
As the other guys said it's all about preperation.
Some tips I found gave me an advantage:
Create a macro that is simply /target You edit this with the first name of the jedi when you get the name from your seeker. This means that when you go in for the kill, hit the button and you instantly target the Jedi your after. Since most hunt in groups, this will save you a lot of time if they all suddenly run off in different directions.
Make another macro:
/dismount;
/waypoint
This means that when you dismount after swooping in fast on your mark catching him with his pants down, and after you've used your target macro, you automatically wapoint the position of your bike. Handy if there's other Jedi bikes there, or youre battle spans a few hundred meters. This could save your a55 if you need to root and pull out if you find you've bitten of more than you can chew. I learned this the hard way when suddenly on the defensive and couldnt find my damn bike ![]()
When chasing a Jedi on a swoop, target his swoop, ensure he's within weapon range and your both on a reasonably flat surface, use your /dismount macro, fire a critical shot (which will 99% of the time blow the swoop up), use your /target macro, KD or root him and begin your attack. I actually had my dismount / critical shot / target Jedi / Underhand shot / buttons all close to each other on the toolbar. I should add, this one takes some practice and you need to be fast.
Get some expensive high energy resist recon armor. The stuff I wore was 8116 energy resist.
Paddy's are easy as hell to kill. Apart from the fact they have poor defences, and poor damage input, they're not all that experienced and generally panic when they realise they are your mark.
Apart from that m8, it's just all about practice. If you have a Jedi friend/s, practice. They will probably be happy becuase it means they also get valuable practice. Meet each other, activate /duel, jedi goes of to grind and you hunt them like you would a real mark using the /findfriend facility to act like the seekers. I dont know if you can still send multiple seekers at the same time to get a live update of the Jedi position, but is so, put the /findfriend thing into a looping macro.
This works best if the Jedi friend acts as though he or she is not expecting you and tries to react as they would in a RL senario.
Get a high damage weapon, get high damage powerups and give it a go.
Good luck
Edit Oh, forgot to add, Never ever ever ever ever ever let your mark know you're hunting them. Stay out of their radar range when monitoring their movments via seekers.
My advice is, if youe mark finds out you have his mission, forget it. Drop it and get another one becuase you just lost your main weapon, surprise and he or she will use the /target BH name to keep tabs on you.
