Thread: Is there any way to break force cloak

I understand jedi are special yada yada yada....but damn to hide behind force cloak forever...why not let them run back inside bldg's. Is there any hope?

pray they have to walk past a boatload of people before they get to their house or wherever they're headed.

I was just chasing my mark who is in theed same spot for past hour...under force cloak......i have heard that if you stand on the spot it will drain it..but nothing. Is there another way to wear it out?

pull out a droid, faction pet and pet too, i think the more stuff you got out the more it'll drain, invite some friends as well.

lol...tempt them by pulling out your swoop and standing near it...they can't cloak if anyone is within 20 M and the swoop can be a martyr

i've only had a chance to test this once before and it seemed to work
bleed (torso shot) will decloak them, really only useful if you know your mark has cloak and lay it on her before she cloaks

bring your friendly neighborhood creature handler with you hunting and have his creatures /follow the jedi

again the options listed above only apply if you can do so before they cloak.
Otherwise your best bet is to try to drain our force. It takes a lot more than one person tho. I've stayed cloaked with 4 guildies and hardly noticed much of a budge on my forcebar. I look for a group at the MO, and with channel I can stay cloaked for 5-10 minutes during peak times..(say 30 or so people)

So they blow the swoop, statis you, then walk 20m away and cloak again?

ah, but your forgetting one thing here:
Channeling like that severely lowers my health. Most of the time I am well under 1k health, sometimes as low as 300. Area attack one of those npc mobs walkin around, and I'm down and out of it.
Also of course, I'm not talkin 30 people directly next to me, meant in the MO in general. Think the cloak tick range to effect force used is 20m as well, used the 30 people example to give an idea of the traffic that goes through and inadverntly walks/drives next to me costing me force... God, if 30 people were right next to me I don't think my force would last even a minute even with channels from hell
