You need stim d's with about 1200 heal, and plenty of ruby bliel. if that doesn't work, trade 0400 pistoleer for medic 0200.

Obviously with only Instant Stims as healing you have to keep out of the Jedi's range (32m). Roots, knockdowns, snares and mezzes are your friend, in that order. After you have made sure the Jedi cant touch you you use your high-damage specials (head shot / crit shot) if your action allows. Always keep some action for Knockdown Recovery.

you can heal all you want butranged cant do any dmg vs melee w/o dots or outside help (NPCs). and traumatize to slow healing.

There are two answers to your question:
- If you can suprise your mark (ie no macros running or buffs etc.) then take him out super quick with something like SniperShot/UnderhandShot/StartleShot/Critical/Headshot.
- If you plan on going toe to toe then .. no .. you will never survive without at least some medic in your template .. CM4000 works best. This type of fight turns into a battle of attrition. Who ever runs outta mind (or force for the jedi) loses. Plan out a good food/spice strategy and action management for this type of fight.

I just switched from that template to having xxx3 pistoleer and medic 0020 instead, and it seems much better. Like the previous poster said, you pretty much have to catch them surprised to use that template. It's much easier to get the first strike with the improved accuracy mods, but after the first 10 seconds or so of battle, if they aren't laying down, you're in trouble. Having medic helps you last those few seconds they catch up to you until you can root/KD and kite like the devil himself is after you
With 0404 Pistoleer, just monitor your mark. Watch his/her buffs, check when they refresh, and try to catch them when they're down or refreshing. It's all about the first 10 seconds or so with it.
