I just want to know if anything official was said by some one important (a dev or other SOE employee about whether the following are exploits or not:

A) Using bomb droids to get around cloak

or

B) Using an area attack on npc/mobs to get around cloak

A) No statement from devs so far. But bomb droids do area damage, so they fall into the same category as B)
B) No statement from devs so far.

If the jedi is whining cuz the bomb droid hurt him while he was cloaked then he is just a whiny baby who can't believe he's not invincible. Using bomb droids on cloaked jedi is perfectly legit. Not sure how you would use a mob against a cloaked jedi though

not an exploit IMO.

The Jedi is not able to be seen it doesn't mean he is not physically there.

It says no where in the description of cloak that your invicible to damage so those whining about being hit by area attacks are just whining. To avoid this all they have to do is Move away from attackable NPC's and run if they get surrounded by opposite faction SF's.

Attack the mob, bring it over toward the cloaked jedi, fan shot (area attack) the mob and you hit the jedi as well.

This is a game, not real life. So psysically there means nothing. What makes a difference is what the devs intended. We don't know what that is. So untill the devs make a statment on this one way or the other i can't see how you would get in trouble.

Agree, I just want to double check and make sure I am in the clear.

not much of an exploit really, you'd have to be a very dumb jedi to let a BH stand next to you and a npc and fan shot you to death.

I dont really see a problem here.

A BH can use his tracking-droids to get the position of the Jedi.

The Jedi uses the force to cloud the mind of others, so, he is still there. (thats how I read the tooltip)

however: Using a bug to target him/her would be considered as an exploit. I am pretty sure about that.

But other than that: You'r free to go imho

Yea I agree, but the question is would it be an exploit if I do not target them? I do hit them, but I don't ever actually target them.

I am guessing that there is no official word on this.

neither of which are exploits, cloak is not suppose to be invinsability on. AOE hit everything in the area. you should not be able to /targ the person but your BH droid gives you the loacation so its fine.
