Thread: Way too lucky.. just waaay too lucky

After taking my mark, I found out that he was on Dathomir. I thought that he might be at the Village, but he was in the vicinity of the Imperial Prison.
I knew that if I went by myself, It would be completely obvious that a Bounty Hunter was coming after him, so I asked a couple guildmates to come with. One came w/ his alt, which is a TKM making us look like a group going to the prison instead of a BH after his mark.
When we finally got there (it's a long drive), I find my mark and another Jedi already fighting the Dark Jedi Master there. What insane luck i thought. I simply waited a while, and after my mark was down to about half health and he had been fighting for a couple minutes, I started shooting from max carb range. I don't think he even noticed I was shooting him!! After I incapped him, i simply waked up and DB'd him.boom.. instead 226,000 credits in my bank.
so like i said... just waaaaay too lucky

Thats how a bh is suposed to win. using tactics and the choosing the time of attack.
so did your group take out the dark jedi after that?

That's the best way to take down a 226k bounty. Shoot 'em in the back.

Looks like you did your job. Finding them when they're dueling is fun too.

we started shooting, but in the end, it turns out that the jedis had done more damage than we had. so the kill belonged to the one remaining Jedi.

I found one dueling once, he was 211k on the terms before publish 20. I waited ion theed in the start port and watched him duel for 20 min just observing him and his tactics. I was planning my strike and while he was dueling he was incapped by another jedi so i hit burst run and db'd him. He was pissed but told me it was a nice move and that it was his fault for not seeing me there with my MBH tag up. It was fun. I always go with my MBH tag up now, why hide it? It makes the victory all the more sweet if they didn't pay attention even when I'm advertising what i am lol

That's awesome. The way I see it. If they get themselves on the terms, and then go about dueling in the middle of a city by the starport showing off. In a way, they're asking for it.

I had a 226k mark tell me i cheated because I attacked while him and his friend were fighting 3 combat level 60 npc's. He went down in 6 shots.

my thoughts exactly. its like when you leave your car unlocked and someone steals your stereo. yeah it sucks but its your own fault.
