No matter what I do I have sent several droids out on the "seek Target" option, but they only give me an updated WP instead of a name. Just kinda irritating. Anybody know a way around this?

i found you only get a name on your mark if you are within 1000m and use the seek option on seeker--or is this now bugged with the hotfix?

before hotfix i had this on one target, but on another target it worked fine...only thing i noticed different between the 2 targets was the one it worked for i used seek before i used a find and track (and didnt use find and track til i got name back) other one i did find and track and then seek immediately after...don't know if this affected it at all it might just have been a coincidence

yea to be sure i get a name:

1) probot droid to find planet

2) go to planet -as soon as i land launch seeker under the "Find and track target"

3) move closer to mark's wp--wait until the seeker tracking stops (about 5min)

4) move to within 1000m of last track then launch another seeker with the "seek target" option

5) waypoint will update once and will analyze biosig to give name

A couple of times I've been lucky (or bugged?) and received a name from across the planet, however this is usually not the case. Every time I have launched a seeker (using "seek") with ~1500m of my target, I have received the name.

I find that I have to be close to the mark (within 500M). It also happned to me inside that range but then I realized that the jedi was in the Death Watch bunker. I went inside used a droid and got the name.
