I play on the American servers from Japan so I'm not exactly in the perfect time zone to play with a lot of people or be in a decent PvP guild or anything. But I do enjoy PvE, I used to play a lot pre-CU but had some issues that made me put the game on hold. What's a good template for someone who wants to PvE solo? Is taking kryats solo still viable post CU?

tkm/msword/4xxx doc will let u solo krayts/djk/djm/necro, rly almost anything

Ihave not heard of anyone that can solo a krayt latly. But latly i have been doing alot of pve.I have been master bounty hunter master creature handler for a few months now and having a kimo tank while i though out damage is nice.I can solo most nestsand with a good pistol i do pretty good in pvp. I take out master bh master rifleman fast.

424 base dps swg5 and a kimo with 8.5k ham and 440 damage comming at ya. >

Anyways the best pvp/pve temps i have seen latly are swordsman combo temps with uber power hammers.

Last night i dueled one, the duel lasted about 3 seconds.I was wearing full comp with 7800 kinetic resist and he dumped damage on me at like 1.2k damage per hit. Thehammer must have been 1.3 speed or somthing maybe he had enhancer speed or somthing im not sure.

soloing krayts is still very much possible. this isnt exaclty right forum to ask of course lol. easiest way would be to get pistoleer 0003/mrifles/some other junk and root the krayt, do sniper headshot sniper headshot til it standsup and try to kite it from there...lot of healer would help since its level based only krayts that hit for a LOT against a lvl 80 is like grands and such...the ones with purple icons. you can't take them now, need to be a jedi with AI and even then its iffy

yeah the grands an ancients are pretty hard for even a mdef Jedi to solo- but everything else id easy game to a Jedi or a mrifles/mcm/pistoleer

I kind of soloed a krayt the other day. The rest of my party was wiped out by a 84th level krayt and I was the last one standing. I thought I would die, honestly. Our tank was a MDef Jedi and we got jumped by multiple Krayts. The last one wiped the tank and the other 3 in our group and I ran when I became the target. I was playing my MBH/MSmug and I ran and was shooting with my speed sliced proton carbine. I used a root (Consussion shot) /snare combo and my BH Crit shots and bleeding shot as much as I could. The Krayt was a little over half heath, almost 3/4 and as long as I kept him rooted and snared I was ok, I used probably 10 1138point Stim Ds before I killed him. I ran in wide circles and tried to stay out of range. I have seen Rifles/MCM templates soloing them a lot tho. That seems like a good template for soloing. I don't really recomend my template for soloing, especially krayts. I have fun with it tho.

solo-ing high levels like krayts is nota problem for me - try M.BH, M.Rifles, CM4000. i heal for +1400 every 2 sec at worst. and hit for +1800 every 2 sec best. today with no kiting, snares or rootstook a lvl 90 SBD in the deathwatch. anchient next time i see one.....

PS a 8000 en resist ADK'd suit of armor with capped tapes and a capped laser rilfe helps as much as the CM!!

sounds nice, but armor break don't help much now as lost getting their armor sliced for 75% armorbreak reduction! stick to rifles and you'll never catch em
