Doesthis mean /offerride will allowa jedi to escape BH after all? I thoughtit was goingto be removed with pub21.

Escaping with cloak and/or force run is easy enough....

Thats clearly an important question. Although I was under the impression that offerride would go under helpful action and under the special tef between a BH and a Jedi. Thus, this change should not effect BHs and Jedi conflicts....

Of course, someone will have to test it to be certain

It means if they can break combat they can but as long as we keep them in combat they cant

A character is allowed to ride with someone:

1. There is room in the vehicle.

2. If they are in the same group.

3. If they are not in combat To break combat they need to be out of our striking range or us quit attacking them. If they get out of striking range long enough to break combat then they have allready escaped you so getting in a vehicle should be ok

4. If they are not in an opposing faction

5. If they do not have a TemporaryEnemyFlag (TEF) they no longer need to wait 2.5 min after they get away from us to get in vehicle

6. If they are factionally overt, then the driver must also be factionally overt.

We should be fine.

Nothing wrong with that. I know many a hunt I rooted the jedi, threw a snare on him, burst ran until combat broke, setup a camp called my speeder and ran.

Question about number 4. I'm a Imp and I go hunting all the time on dant, there are on leave rebs and i'm a on leave imp. You mean I can't use my jedi mom car any more?

I am new to hunting as of last weekend and this happened twice to me. It did not seem to be much of an issue. The first time, I KD'ed him out of the car and finished him quickly. The second time, they got 200+ m away. I pulled my BARC while still running. When it came, I hopped on and caught up. Then I KD'ed him out of the car and finished him. It does seem that the Devs are really making an effort to make Jedi/BH 1v1. I love this both from the standpoint of a Vet Jedi and nOOb BH.

I believe that if you are "on leave" then you are fine. #4 is only for overt if I'm not mistaken. I'll check into this more though.

On leave is same as being neutral except a faction scan can posibly make you covert(combatant). So as long as you are on leave and your jedi mom is on leave you can ride in her car.
