Thread: I think we have a Kashyyyk problem...

Here are the facts, and JUST the facts....

4 Kashyyyk Rebel Jedi missions in a row.

I checked all 6 instances of the Rryatt trail all 4 times.

I saw roughly 24 - 32 different Jedi on the Rryatt throughout the night.

I didn't find my Mark ONCE in 4 missions.

I'm worried that there is bug that removes the TEF for Jedi on Kashyyyk. The ONLY reason I'm worried about this is because of the BARC I found about 3 weeks ago right outside the Rryatt tail. I was unable to attack the BARC only to discover latter that it belonged to my Mark.

1 or 2 missions and I can't find the Jedi....okay, I can live with that. 3 or 4 missions and I can't find my Jedi but there are not many Jedi ont he Trail anyway...I can even deal with that.

But I just wasted about 3 hours and did NOTHING!

I really want something that tells a BH when a mark leaves the planet. This is getting stupid. I don't need the name, and I don't care if it makes sense, not much left in this game does. I don't care if my droid can't tell me where my mark is, BUT can tell me where my mark is not. 3 HOURS and I didn't do a damn thing.....wow, I can't wait to log on tomorrow.

I think I'm gonna go try out BF2.

I checked all instances today and my mark was not there, so I went to the SECOND jedi / wookie village (yes there is yet another area beyond the first ) and found her there. it's not really a village, more like the next area to the left of the village.

I am seeing more and more jedi use this area now.....not that hard to get to, but the debate i am having (with myself LOL) is whether I do it the old fashion way , checking every village first and THEN check the second area or if I just check all first areas, then in the same pass hump it to the second areas.

I launch seekers every second area I check to make sure my jedi is :

still online

still on planet

I have gotten returns saying "not online" and not "on planet" so it is working fine in that regard.

I think I know where your talking about....I had a mission there once.

Is it one the first or second level? That I don't remember.

Some thing to consider...

not all jedi on Kash are on the Ryatt trail - your argument is like saying - "well they werent in Bestine so they arent on Tatooine" - theres 9 bazillion places to grind on Kash - Ryatt is one of many.

Give me a break....you KNOW how popular the Rryatt Trail is for grinding. Out of ALL the Jedi I DID see, none of them were part of my 4 missions?

Look, I KNOW what your saying, and it IS logical, but I'm also a numbers guy....I was once told and fully believe: Never bet against the odds.

When you get ot the the main grinding wookie viallge, take the bridge to the left of it and follow it to the next intersection. You will see other groups there. It has only happned once to me but it just so happens that it occured tonight .

I went to every instance, not there, I went to the second area and found her right away (then killed her).

I've had a number of marks like that, searched all six Ryyatt Trail spots and nothing. So I decided to check back to the old Myydril Caves, and sure enough found a full-template napping deep within.

there are 2 similar area on web path in the trails that spawn wookies, the first is where the majority go, but keep fillowing the path and youll find a second platform of sookies, most time it empty but some times Bingo!

ps. if you dont wana waste the time in kasyy, just abort the mission and try another. plus some jedi may actually at the keybard and doing someting elde in Kasyyy

Well...4 isn't that many, either.

Last night I was on Kashyyyk trying to get access to the avatar. I've never grinded on Kashyyyk, as I finished most of my grind pre-cu, but I had to go to the very bottom of the Rryatt trail and kill Scratch as part of the non-imperial avatar quest. Yep, I left my vehicle outside - it's just a flash speeder (serves as a first warning for me ).

But, if someone had my mission and only went as far as the feral wookiees, they would have missed me, as I have access to all levels and can move about freely.

One thing that does seem fishy, however, was that you couldn't attack his vehicle once. But that could be written off as a momentary blip.
