I suck. I suck hardcore. I have yet to kill a jedi in any way shape or form. I

I am having a hard time seeing how it is possible with their abilities making them so much better. I am a master rifleman, MBH, with medic 0040.

Could I get some tips, and what I should do to actually become combat effective? I can take down the lvl 80 npc marks but they are a joke. What should I do to become a better BH?

got to about 150-180m away, then use /pro then /cover, if done properly they wont be able to see you, use conceal shot, when they start moving towards you use /sni, stand up and start running.

wait until they are at low health or force before attacking

Practice by PvPing more if you already dont. NPCs dont compare to player toons. Check your foods/armor/weapons...make sure you PUP your weapons, try a differant template, maybe MCM, MP, MC? But mostly practice by PvPing.

Practice pvp.

Duel friends, a LOT.

Build macros to use before the fight. Include such items as food/drink, spices, health crystal, etc.

Practice pvp.

Learn to use a bomb droid.

Learn to hide and blend in with your environment. (Cover, houses, shuttles, etc.)

Learn to track your mark and be patient, instead of rushing in for a banzai-attack the first time you spot your mark.

Wait for the right opportunity to attack. Surprise is your only ally. When you do attack, go all out and don't hold back.

Practice pvp.

If one of your (failed) jedi marks seems like a nice person, ask them for advice on what you did wrong after a fight. Listen to them. Thank them.

I know those are very general and not really helpful for specifics, but I think you'll find that most successful BH's have studied these items extensively and use them a lot.
