It sounds like he went LD while running up, which causes you to continue running in the last direction you were going....
it's bad when it happens, as sometimes it can cause messy problems.
Don't make excuses for the Jedi he died plain and simple, since the last direction in any base where you have to go up in is to make lots of last minute turns to get out, going ld was not the issue.

If you take part in the GCW. NPCs hurt. He had Rebel NPCs that are High Level on him, he said screw the BH. He is doing no damage to me, the NPCs however are the killers, they are trained on him. He took off which he shouldn't have. Unless all the Imperials were dead, then I'd sorta understand. Good job, you did nothing. But, that is a Bounty Hunter.
An opportunist.
n.
One who takes advantage of any opportunity to achieve an end, often with no regard for principles or consequences.
That is you.
P.S. I'd DB him too. Also, I do not have a Jedi.

Congrats !!! I love killing Jedi with the help of NPCs. Much easier than trying to solo them.

Chances are, he didn't see you when you attacked inside the base. He was probably too concerned with the NPCs, and since you only fired one or two shots, you didn't make yourself too noticable. I'll bet he was running from the NPCs, trying to break aggro, when you got him.

I cycled through a relatively small amount of offline marks before I finally got one online. As luck would have it he was outside a PC. I scouted around a bit since it looked like he wasn't moving - figured he was afk or in a cantina. I waited awhile to see if he moved and when he didn't I decided to investigate and get a new mission if needed.
As I got close I see the waypoint is in a rebel base. I run inside and once the inside loads I can hear the sound of sabers and also see on the overhead that there are a lot of imp jedi in here. I get downstairs and this guy had most of his guild there so I shoot a couple rounds at him and when he notices me I book up and out of the base and wait outside (wanted to get out of the close quarters situation). While I'm waiting for him to come up I take note that he is a finished template and it didn't seem I did much damage to him (Defender). I prepare mentally for the possibility of my trip to the cloners..
He finally comes out and I hit him with everything I've got. He runs past me....I'm thinking ok maybe he lagged or something. I keep pounding him and notice he's getting ripped up fast. I then notice the large groups of rebel NPC spawns that just popped outside the base. He gets incapped and I db /bow and leave. Couldn't help wondering WTH though when he came out and kept running. I'm sure he coulda put a hurtin on me. /shrug

It sounds like he went LD while running up, which causes you to continue running in the last direction you were going....
