Skope, weird thing is he was in a city hall of a player city, I walked in like I would buy somethin from the vendors and attacked. The game teleported me outside, then teleported him outside and I just kept firing.

I believe that it kicks you out if you attack him, but I could be wrong... Hence the Teleporting...

Here is my advice:

I am not a respec BH but I did just recently start doing Jedi missions.I am also a terrible PvP player. That being said I am 12-0 including FOUR 220K + Jedis.

How?

Simple.

1. I only attack if I have achieved complete and utter surprise.(meaning I can frontload a miminum of 2K-3K points of damage, getting a clean KD, followed up by a Torso , ADV Crti combo, followed by stopping shot , Torso, ADV crit combo all the meanwhile the pet is doing 50-150 points, this will assure over 3K of damage , and will guarantee the jedi to be in a defensive position after the root. You have forced him to think of only two things at this point, running or healing).

2. Only engage if the Jedi, in addition to being completely surprised, is not buffed or his force is down, or he is engaed by MOBS or creatures. Even if you achieve utter surprise like #1 above but the jedi is not in a tough spot (in other words he is buffed and not distracted or enegaed by other PvE activities) you can still lose dramatically even if you cause 3K of damage before reaction, so DON'T engage and follow this rule.

If you follow these two rules and drop the mission whenever you can not engage with these parameters, I promise you success after success. I have dropped 3 or 4 times as many missions as I have won but the results speak for themselves.

I do this with mediocore armor, using neutron pixie, and valarian brandy and a 69 level spider . I do have a GREAT krayted laser rifle but nothing really fancy. use your head more than your in game muscle and you will be succesful. I have never even had to heal in a fight yet and have only actually been hit a few times in the earlier missions.

I'm new to all of the hunting Jedi thing as of last night. First Jedi I killed was 80, but I was saddened to find he was afk...the next few Jedi I fought SLAUGHTERED ME ENTIRELY....any tips for a new Jedi hunter? What should I eat? What order should I eat them in (cuz I know you can only eat some foods before you eat others)? What pistol, armor, etc should I wear? Thanks much.

Master Smuggler + Master Bounty hunter, everything you need to get those (obviously), and 0020 medic. Using mixed Ubese and Composite armor and a FWG5. My DPS is 408.72.

Well when I find them I walk by naturally, walk into a building, watch from afar, all that jazz. I'll usually wait to see that they have no buffs on them when I attack. I eat my food and drink my drink, then attack. Usually my first shot is deflected so I can't get an underhand shot off right away..but I try that and if I land it i'll get a good couple shots on em, down to half health or so...but they get back up, heal, kick my a$$.

ok first of all a couple things... you can get all these questions answered without havign to post. Just takes some reasearch haha.. research sucks. but have you read the sticked forums. Read the one up top called So you respecced to MBH and want to hunt the jedi.. Also read the one called New BHs who dont want to do a lot of research.. also Dariens BH guide and my Post from a while ago is stickied called "Calling all Bounty Hunters!!" Also what was the name of the AFK jedi you killed out of curiosity haha?
