Thread: Wow...I do crap damage...help

I'm a noob BH, but non-respec...I acutally grinded my way up thru the who thing...took a while. I went for the MBH/M Carbs/Pistols 0003/Medic 0020 cuz it seemed solid enough. After one successfull pre-pub 20 kill I have had crap luck against the full-templates or near full temps. But my Proton Carbine which i Pup'ed to 1000+ max dam doesn't do jack...maybe3-400 per hit...is this how it's gonna be? I'd like to think I'd be able to last longer vs a Jedi but I keep getting hit for 1000+ very quickly...just soem minor pointers would be appreciated.

if youre going against a MDefender or a jedi running aura thats about how much dmg your going to do , i can hit anywhere from 800-1100 dmg to jedi that are not defenders such as MLS Menh 4x4x healers

Much depends on the affect of defense vs accuracy mitigation. If target defense is much higher than your accuracy you will do damage close to the min value on your weapon. That is why jedi is hitting so hard because the damage range on sabers are very tight (only about 100 less min than max damage) even if max damage is much lower than a good pistol/carbine/rifle.

gen ranged accuracy skill tapes, foods that increase accuracy, refinance your home and your BARC... etc
