hmm, If they banned everyone for exploiting they would lose a lot of customers. Especially Jedi and Bounty hunters. If they traced all your actions many of you would be in trouble, lol. I remember the old BH /duel exploit when you could challenge a Jedi to a duel, and if you had his misson he couldn't do anything at all. I would love to see them enforce their own policy, would be funny to see half the server population gone, lol.
Yes which is why Bh's are in that position where they are today.
I'm not pointing any fingers. Jedi and BH's are both to blame.
They wouldn't have to ban everyone who has used this straight away. Simply post a notice that they will be laying down the law on exploiters. I'm sure that when the first few get banned the exploiting would stop or at least decrease immensely.
Seriously this is hurting everyone not just BH's and not just Jedi. And it's giving the game a very bad name.

/agree
Thanks for keeping it above-board. I have a Jedi and a BH, and I'm tired of the generalizations of each. There are exploiters everywehere, and SOE should enforce their Policies.
Do you remember how long we got to actually use that exploit until your Jedi friends whined it away? Now how long have you Jedi been allowed to use the Duel exploit, hmm? We've been whining to get yours removed but since we're not 60% of each server, maybe the Devs can't hear us.

I have to say that when it comes to handling exploiters SOE does the worst job at enforcing their EULA. In fact they do such a terrible job that most people don't even know what exploiting is, unless it's a credit dupe.

Here's a little news for you who aren't sure of what an exploit is. If you are using a game mechanic to do something that it isn't supposed to be used for in order to gain an unfair advantage then you are exploiting that game mechanic.
Examples of hot debated exploits:
The LoS exploit on the Ryat trail. I'm not blaming jedi for this, we all know BH have used it too. This is clearly an exploit. I doubt the devs decided to put in invisible barriers that work as safe zones for anyone. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either retarded or simply fooling himself.
The Duel/Endduel exploit. Again, I'm not blaming jedi for this, we all know BH have used it too. This is clearly an exploit. The duel commands weren't meant to take out BH's best weapon: Surprise factor. Any person who uses this to gain an unfair advantage is exploiting this command to gain an unfair advantage.
The worst thing about SOE when it comes to exploits isn't the fact that they don't get fixed, it's that SOE doesn't come out and explain to everyone that this is in fact an exploit. If they would just come out and state that the LoS and the Duel/Endduel is an exploit and that you could get banned for using it then there really wouldn't be much need for a fix. People would be too afraid to use these exploits in fear of losing their accounts.
Still SOE's employees keep saying how important their customers are but they do nothing whilst their own game mechanics are used to ruin other peoples playing experiences. To me this simply goes to prove that SOE is either too lazy or too afraid to do anything about this, or the more obvious reason, they simply do not care.
I think every correspondant should make it their nr. 1 priority to make sure SOE does their job and punishes exploiters.

The only exploits that will get you banned would be a credit dupe exploit or a multiple slice exploit. Other than that, SOE will not ban you for exploits.I dont care if a dev or csr comes here and tries to prove me wrong.SOE doesnt want to lose anymore customers, so they have lowered their standards on bans. I think thats sad.
I will go as far as to say that harassment wont get you banned. I have made countless harassment tickets on jedi that have cussed/harassed me after killing them and none of them were ever punished. You want to know the answer to those tickets????.... I got reminded to use my /ignore and to turn on my profanity filter.....
